Is it the same kind of oxygen tank used on Cousin Ben when he was tied to the underside of the boat? Also, some other questions I need answered: 1. Why did Richard have Wakefield articles!? I originally thought they had to be planted on him to make him look suspicious.... but by whom? 2. Where is the money and why does it exist in the first place? Malcolm was killed before burning all of the money, therefore the killer must have taken the rest of it. 3. Is Madison lying about the Sheriff being the one to kidnap her? She has lied before so it wouldn't surprise me... but if it was the Sheriff that hid Madison, was he doing it to keep the killer from leaving the island? 4. Who grabbed Abby in the tunnel? It had to be the same person that killed Beth, right!?! I'm so lost.... I really don't have a clue. I know Henry is the obvious choice but I just don't see how it could be him after this episode... I'm leaning towards Cal being the child of Wakefield that no one knows about. I really just want to know. I need an epic murder-by-murder reveal.

This last episode showed there's not a fluid sense of timing, as Henry went from the doctor's office back to the hotel in seconds. So due to jabberwocky timing, anyone could be the killer, and an accomplice would not be necessary. I'm just surprised the remaining people aren't pointing fingers more at one another yet. Oh well, bring on the flashbacks of each murder showing us how each happened! (And I assume I missed it, but did last night's episode even show Beth's corpse? Poor Beth. When she was walking around with the two guys at the beginning, I was hoping she wouldn't die. Was totally shocked by the Step-Mom's death. Someone else said it, but it didn't look to me that her resting position didn't seem natural. More details will come about next episode, I'm sure).

The tower card and the lighthouse could figure in that. Umm no the book ended with Vera hanging herself and then with the letter found at sea from the Judge. Nobody survived Ten Little Indians/And Then There Were none. Booth's dead body turning up would be seeing him again. In response to the 1/3 part asking who the hell is that. . . .how bout we pick somebody from the actual people alive. Maggie and Nikki are still WTF's. 3rd anyone would have assumed Beth was dead when somebody comes running up and saying "We found Beth" and Beth not being with them. I'm sure Henry was going to say "How did she die?" but decided it was in poor taste and lack of respect and asked "What Happened?". If he was the killer would have even asked? He would have been like . . ."poor beth" or something. Booth's possible lack of a bullett hole was just a poor job on the makeup department. 4th there aren't two killers. Even with the producers describing the killer 1/3 part he uses the killer in the singluar sense. They've said its only 1 killer from the start. No accomplice, no help, just one guy. The only evidenace you people really got is the lack of a dead body and the small possiblity he may/may not have had a bullet hole. Well, Lucy's still missing and we didn't see her face all burned up so is she still alive too. Maybe she's the killer! Surely somebody would have found that pit leading from the beach now!!

It would be dumb and tedious to just have a lot of people going on separate adventures. Henry, Abby, and Jimmy are definitely making it to the end, while complete randoms like Shane Maggie, Nikki, Sully, and Danny will diaf.

The tower card and the lighthouse could figure in that.SPOILER ALERT (Not for Harper's Island), but for the Agatha Christie novel. Actually, "And Then There Were None" a.k.a. "Ten Little Indians" ends slightly differently. A man and a woman are left on the island thinking they are the final two (not realizing the killer faked their own death). The paranoia on the island causes one character to shoot and kill the the other. The character who then thinks they are alone on the island, having just killed this other person, goes and hangs themselves at the end. The person who faked their death then resets the chair that the hanged person kicked away and then goes and kills themselves in the manner that was faked before. When the police arrive they find 10 dead bodies and no explanation of what happened. They cannot figure out how everyone was murdered because no one seems to have been alive at the end to kill themselves. The final twist is that a sailor finds a message in a bottle where the person who faked their death explains how he did it because he wanted the possibility that someone would know someday. Reading the killer's message explains to all of us what happened. What an interesting twist if like this original Agatha Christie novel everyone ends up dead on Harper's Island when the state police finally arrive and they cannot figure it out who killed everybody. Then someone finds a journal written by the killer in the style of John Wakefield and we see flashbacks of what the journal says. Now the play and the movie versions of And Then There Were None / Ten Little Indians ended up differently with the final two man and the woman surviving and flushing out the person who faked their own death. I would love to see an ending like the original "And Then There Were None" ending because it is so different. However, as this is television, the final episode is likely to have Abby being chased by the killer in the iconic lighthouse and being saved by Jimmy/Henry from Henry/Jimmy. Zzzzzz...... However, at the time of the discovery of the bodies on the island, no one knew what happened. (I have the book in front of me.) I have seen at least two versions of the movie: an English version from the 1940's and a bad American remake of the early 1970's that takes place in a mountain resort. It's been awhile, but the English version had a final shot of Vera standing on the beach, shooting Lombard, and then walking into the house, and getting ready to step up into the noose. The killer (judge) explains what happened, takes the poison, and kills himself. Vera has to decide what she's going to do -- kill herself because no one will believe her, or remain alive and be convicted of killing everyone. They do not show anyone finding the bottle with the explanation. It was assumed at the time (1940's) that people would have read Agatha Christie's book and known what was going to happen or that they would be interested in reading it, thereby getting the explanation at the end of the book. The film code at that time did not allow people to get away with murder on screen. (Such as differences between the film "Rebecca" and the book). The bad American version had Lombard and Vera making a pact that they were going to survive (which you didn't know about), faking Vera killing Lombard, and then having the killer explain what happened to Vera. Then, Lombard walks in. The killer, already having taken the poison, is clearly not going to get away with it. I can't remember some of the other details. Just that it wasn't as good as the older version that I had seen.

There have been several bad remakes of Ten Little Indians, the mountain resort you described, stranded in the desert, in a jungle safari, probably one in a spaceship too. The original movie version of And Then There Were None from the 1940s was on the New York Times list of the Top 10 films of the year. While the ending is different from the book, the movie itself is really well made.

Note the preview STARTS with a snapping sound. I had thought the boat explosion would come early in the episode, with the "snap" related to a murder at the end, but perhaps the explosion comes at the end if the snapping sound in the preview is the one the episode title refers. I wouldn't be surprised if Maggie just gave them to her. She's still my top suspect. While the tunnels were small, they weren't so small that Danny couldn't crawl through them, and he's a big guy. Abby didn't have any more luck getting through the tunnel than Danny did, so unless there's an easier way to stuff Beth's body in there, I still think Maggie could have crawled through. As for the connection to Harper's Globe - I'm assuming that the people in the car with Robin all died, and one of them is connected to the killer. Be it Henry's friend, Maggie's child, Chloe's sister, etc. I don't know, but whoever it is ended up with the videotapes, watched them, blamed Robin, and is taking revenge on her, too. By the way, are we sure that Wakefield isn't a MacGuffin? I love you. Mystery Buff, you know there's a quote function here, right? It will upset people who don't want to hear about Harper's Globe, but here it is for those who are interested. I'm providing it for purely informational purposes as an argument against Maggie. Maggie is cleared, as mentioned elsewhere, because she was shown on Harper's Globe in April, Jason, the Harper's Globe moderator, said in May that we had not seen Dangerous Wreck's face, Jason said more recently that if Robin Matthews assumes it's true, then we should accept it as correct: Robin assumed Cheshire Cat was Andy and that Dangerous Wreck killed people; Brent refers to Dangerous Wreck as a "he", and we now discover Dangerous Wreck killed Brent, therefore, the Killer IS A HE, and is NOT Maggie, therefore Maggie is eliminated, de facto from the list. Note: "Cheshire Cat" a.k.a. Andy Cullen, the Wakefield-killed harbormaster's now dead son, also referred to the killer as a "He". How much stock you put in the Harper's Globe side of the equation is up to you.

C.C. didn't know who the killer was and used typical gender by refering to the killer as a he. Most unknown killers are refered to as males til it can be established otherwise.
