I'm fine if they're weird as long as they sound like they're spelled. If you send your kids name to people and also have to send the pronunciation
you're an idiot.

Khalilaylou and Nanahma were the hardest for me to remember how to say. I'm probably spelling them wrong.

Tampaxia is easy enough to pronounce. She's a very laid back girl, one who just likes to go with the flow.

I'm not saying your lame b/c read books and watch movies, I'm calling you lame because you remembered something from a lame book and too make it worse you remembered the most lamest thing about it. . .the name of the estate and then had a fight over it. . . .LAME!!!! |

Oh we didn't have a fight. I just smiled and said, "Oh that's nice!" while sstsing. Once the parents have settled on a name, you're
better off shutting up.

What are they planning to nickname the poor little girl?
Pemmy? Pembie? Berly? |

We named one of our boys a somewhat uncommon name. I like to say it's a name that: if you see it, you don't know how to pronounce it, and if you hear
it, you don't know how to spell it.
Poor guy will go through life always hearing teachers mispronounce it, and always having to spell it whenever he tells it to someone who has to write it down or type it into a computer. |

My sister had a friend named Jupt. When he told me his name I was like "Oh Jeff" and then he kept saying it and I said about 10 different common
names that I thought he was saying and he finally wrote it down. His parents made it up.

No... it's more common than that. And yet, still so uncommon that I have to point to an actor on Desperate Housewives for an example of someone famous with
that name (well, in part).
