They're really in a tough spot, because calling Tyce's stuff "Stage Jazz with no verbal Component" just doesn't give off the right vibe.
Last nights show seemed to produce roughly four consensus top numbers. Nobody really sucked for me though I think the clear bottom couple was Asuka/Vitolio and that was at least (i.e. mostly) due to the routine they had. It was like background filler for something better that should have been going on.
I think the Randi/Evan and the Melissa/Ade routines were the prettiest numbers, with a nod to Janette/Brandon's foxtrot. Max and Kayla finished with a bang too.
I like Tony, but I recognize he IS going to last longer than he should. However,NapTabitha hiphop is not Tony's style. N&T seem to me like choreographers for people who don't do hip hop but would like to learn. Lots of smooth movements, always an emotional "story" and very little popping, locking and hard hard hitting.
Memo to Melissa: stop talking about how old you are, how you feel like a grandma and for the love of gawd don't call the other dancers "kids". I want you stay around awhile.
