Speidi is exactly what's wrong with some in organized religion - giving everything up to god means taking no responsibility.
Can someone explain what happened - my tivo cut the last fifteen minutes for some reason, but still it didn't look like the events of the episode were matching all the drama and lawsuit threatening. |

Hopefully HollyGODDESS spices things up. Just get her some alcohol and potatoes.

If you believed the reports from the Speidi camp, they were locked in a room without food and water and she was medivacked straight from the "torture
chamber". In reality, they were in there for an indetermite amount of time, left in good spirits, then went back to the camp. She started dry heaving
after nattering on incessantly about God and charity (and not being able to afford tampons), and was taken by ambulance first to the on-site medics, and then
supposedly to a hospital in San Jose. Really, that was it. There was no emergency or drama whatsoever.
I suspect that all the stuff over the weekend, both the Speidi and the NBC/ producer rebuttals, were generated by the publicity staff and that Heidi's dry heaving was faked to excuse them from camp (and from the mercy of the vote). For instance, the rumors are that NBC threatened Speidi with a breach of contract suit for leaving. But Francis walked away without anyone batting an eye. In fact, it appears you're allowed to quit. So all of the supposed clashes between Speidi and the producers are as fake as The Hills. At this point, I don't believe a single one of the "reports from the inside". It's all fabricated for publicity's sake. BTW, they're still in Costa Rica, so they will return. Then be conveniently whisked off before they participate in any vote. |

This show has gotten so much hype because of Spencer and Heidi. I love the way Spencer tries to get Patti Blagojevich to talk about her husband. She is clearly uncomfortable, and I don't think for one moment Spencer is a fan. Come on - he's an OC Republican. They've re-run their conversation on MSNBC and CNN - and probably many other news networks. |

Speidi are among the greatest reality tv contestants of all time. So many m.orphs and colorful moments <3
I don't like Holly nearly as much but hopefully she can win in their honor.

I thought someone else was supposed to quit last night. I didn't get to watch -- did someone quit?

Fran quit. She didn't want to be there without her friend Angela.

I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here! delivered 5.19 mil, which was on par with its most recent outing but down 18 percent from its premiere a week ago. In fact, the reality series placed fourth during the 8 o'clock hour, then floated up to third at 9, squeaking past a Bones repeat. |

I called Fran quitting the moment I saw Angela leave. I think if it was reversed however, Angela would have fought it out. She was a tough cookie.

I don't even have to watch. I get just as much out of it following along here and I don't have to actually see Speidi on my screen. Seeing the ads this
weekend that featured them was bad enough.

Although I was glad that Spencer and Heidi made a closer connection with God, their over the top praise made me feel uncomfortable watching them. Nobody in my Church walks around does stuff like that for every moment of their life so it was wierd seeing these people do it so quickly. It's between them and God though |

So, you're buying Spencer's "I found God" routine...really? I believe Heidi was raised that way but I question her relationship with her
divine one. She seems to depend on God for everything rather than on herself. I hate that...does God really care if Heidi made it through her night in the
'torture' chamber?

Like 'homo is a sin' because of diseases and shit, now they're are condoms and stuff. And um, like, the retards should be stoned is because well, nothing could be down for them back then. Stuff like that. And I'm friends with two born agains. They always talk about how they love Jesus and they don't drink and shit but they aren't that bad. |
