"They treated them like they were criminals or terrorists," she added. My show insider insists the newlyweds were not only fed, but they were only in the lost chamber for about 14 hours. "They slept most of the time," said the insider, who asked not to be identified. "And when they weren't sleeping, they were laying side by side praying." As for the Speiders, the insider said, "There were no bugs added to the chamber. Maybe there was a small one that Spencer tried to kill." The insider also said Heidi was not vomiting: "They were in happy spirits when they came out of the chamber." We'll get to see everything tomorrow night when the latest I'm a Celebrity airs. "Everything is documented because there are cameras on them all the time," the insider said. "There are interviews, too." Now, sources say, Spencer is considering suing NBC for its treatment of him and Heidi, while NBC is threatening to sue the newlyweds if they don't live up to their contract and bail in the show. I don't think they would be issuing statements like crazy and releasing photos to contradict what they had previously claimed if they weren't worried about it. Like someone said, the purpose of the show is to make celebrities uncomfortable so I have no problem with the "torture room" or whatever (unless they really weren't allowed to quit, which is stupid) but I do think NBC seems concerned about it. They've done a 180 on their "we're going to break them down so hardcore!" stance from FOUR DAYS AGO and are now spinning it completely differently. It makes them seem worried imo.

There were no spiders or other creatures in there. Only puffs of air shot at them & acorns being drug across the floor to simulate creepy, crawly things. NBC doesn't have anything to worry about. They can still say they were trying to break them down. Speidi claims physical abuse but it's clearly not the case.

I'm not saying I think they did anything out of the realm of the typical tactics on a show like this. The show is set up to be awful to participate in, and Speidi knew that. I don't believe they have a lawsuit or that they will even sue. Unless they were threatened if they quit, I don't understand the fuss at all. All I'm saying is that NBC seems to be frantically trying to cover their ass on this one.

If they were really afraid of a lawsuit they would be doing everything they can to sweep it under the rug rather than disclose every detail they could. The more they disclose the more there is to be used against them as evidence. They are not worried at all. They are probably just fanning the flames because of the publicity, just like Speidi are. I hardly doubt they are worried that anyone, whether it be the public or the justice system, is going to give credence to what those two fame whores have to say. They've shot themselves in the foot with all their crying wolf anyway. Any way you look at it Speidi are the losers, not NBC.

The exposure to bad publicity that NBC might have out of this is really not worth a hill of beans.
