I agree that these would not sell now, but it would be nice to see some things happening to get them there and not just be left with the stock main events over
and over again.

Uh Cody Rhodes vs Cena, Miz vs Cena, Swagger vs Cena, or MVP vs Cena would not sell a PPV. We actually did have a PPV with Cena/Miz; Punk/Taker didn't we? We know it's Taker vs. Big Show at Survivor Series anyway, Punk is getting relegated back to the mid-card probably. At least we have Kofi/Orton. That feud is fresh, hopefully it does well. |

Sorry, basic question here, how does the WWE know which stars are "main event worthy" and which feuds are working? Is it ratings? Internet chatter?
Crowd reactions? I don't get how they evaluate these things, especially so quickly.

I don't get how they evaluate these things, especially so quickly. All 3, crowd reaction plays a big role though. And they don't always get it right. There have been tons of people who they've tried to pass off as main event worthy (Kozlov, Lashley) and have failed...Meanwhile, others (like Jeff Hardy and Eddie Guerrero) can languish around the upper mid card for years with strong reactions and they before they pull the trigger and give them a chance. |

Show vs Taker?
They're gonna need a bigger belt. |

Um who cares if the PPV sells? I'm sure the PPV's have not been selling great for years. (Its all about streams) Back then we had different challengers
in the title scene, nowadays its the same recycled bullshit.
Miz, Kofi Kingston, MVP and Swagger are not nobodies either. They can use a great rub challenging for the WWE Championship! |

Stop downloading illegal streams, you are taking my money!!! (Back then we had Hulk Hogan vs. XXXX over and over and over for over a decade) |

Usually, I end up fast forwarding through most of Raw, but I actually watched a decent amount of this week's show.
For whatever reason, I do enjoy the interaction between Swagger and The Miz. When Swagger went to the ring, turned his back to the Miz's match and talked to Eve, it reminded me of the things the Rock used to do. I miss things like that. |

I really enjoyed the ending to last night's show. Watching everybody from RAW beat on the Big Show was fun.
I think they could turn Swagger-Miz-Bourne into something decent if they wanted to. |

One of the greatest PPV's of all time was when the big three(Taker/HHH/Rock) all took on new wrestlers(Angle/Jericho/Benoit).
I'd love for one of the next PPV's to have Orton/Kofi, Dibiase/HBK, Rhodes/HHH, Swagger/Cena etc etc etc |

Miz/Cody/Kofi, do have good in-ring skills, but they haven't paid enough dues yet. Maybe in another 3-4 years at least one of them could be a main eventer. Mic skills is also important. The Miz already has it down and Cody is getting there, but Kofi...he needs to improve big time on this. Out of those three I only see Miz and Cody actually making it to Main event status. |
