American Idol Finalist Allison Iraheta Signs to 19 Recordings; Debut Album to be Released Fall 2009 on 19 Recordings/Jive Records

The vibrantly red-haired rocker was the youngest contestant ever (age 16) to make it into the Top 12. She had aspired to be on American Idol since its debut in 2002 when she was only 9. Early in the season Allison Iraheta caught the attention of Idol judges, with Kara DioGuardi commenting, "keep your eye on that girl!"
