I will miss this show after next week, but will miss it even more because of the whimsical perfection of season 1.

As fun and whimsical as the penultimate episode was, to me it's as if the show was meandering. The whole point of the show became second banana to the
whodunit stuff and the Olive and Emerson stories. Yes, the cast is terrific, but it reminded me a bit of the demise of Northern Exposure my former Best Show
Ever. It died in sort of the same way as PD - there were three episodes in the can that CBS didn't bother to show until late in the summer (after it was
cancelled much earlier in the season). When those 3 shows finally appeared they were... okay. But like NX lost Doctor Fleischman and had absolutely no idea
what to do with the new MD and his wife - who were IMO unfairly castigated by fans of the show for being so lifeless - it's as if TPTB of PD really
didn't know what to do with the High Concept of PD. They have six wonderful characters in PC (including the mermaids) but it was as if they didn't
know how to properly mesh them.

So is next week some sort of conclusion with ends tied up or is it just the last ep they filmed? I know Dirty Sexy Money was able to film an actual finale.

Poor Anna. Land Of The Lost is shaping up to be one of the biggest bombs of all time.

Seems people just don't like giant lizards the way they used to.

I want to see more with Lee Pace. :-(
Also, anger that I can't buy the singles of Hopelessly Devoted or Birdhouse in Your Soul on iTunes, they are only available if you buy the whole album. |

I loved this latest episode. The writing only gets better, as does the acting. What a fine show with a superlative cast. So, one more to go -- as in,
"once more, with feeling."

kk, as rushed and thrown together as it seemed...I liked the quick wrap up at the end. I would have rathered an actual conclusion episode, but it was better
than nothing.

All in all, the ending wasn't that bad.
A bit of hope for all involved. ABC has done much worse to us in the past. <3 PD! BFFTV |

Pretty good episode. Sad to see that they had to wrap everything up in about a minute's time at the end there, but then, its better than no ending
whatsoever I suppose. Was worth the multi-month wait.

I so loved the costumes. The hats. The silliness.
Kristin Chenoweth is the hottest woman in the world. (and she is so tiny!) And I have seen Chi McBride in a thousand other roles. But this one was his finest. I will miss this show. |

FUCK ABC!!!
And I have seen Chi McBride in a thousand other roles. But this one was his finest. Agreed. I've never really cared for him for some reason, but I absolutely loved him in this. Hell, I loved everybody in this. |

I already watched the episodes from torrents from the UK broadcast. It's sad to see the show go, definitely. If only they stopped killing quality or at
least if viewers enjoyed quality more rather than the endless lineups of police procedural and medical dramas.

Pushing Daisies was the only drama that I regularly watched, now I'll have to replace it with some shitty show, like Medium. Ick.
