Episode 2: Candace, Michelle, and Cristina are feeling like outcasts on their own team. Margaret assures them that it was only a voting block for the first tribal council, and things will change. Men win both reward and immunity again--and women are forced to go to tribal council. Margaret finds that Cristina seems to be scheming with everyone, telling them all different stories. Candace, Cristina, and Michelle target Margaret after asking Kimmi and Jolanda to vote with them--but in the end, Kimmi and Jolanda stayed true to their original alliance and Cristina was sent home.

Episode 3: The men find themselves getting sick of one another, as the tribe seems to be divided between the hard-workers and the lazy cast members. Dave's strategy to "lay-low" rather than be a work horse like he was in China isn't working--as many view him as lazy. After winning reward, but losing immunity, the men decide to target either Dave or Gary--who simply couldn't keep up during the challenge. While the vote is split in a close 6-4, Dave was sent packing.

Episode 4: The women are still reeling from their first immunity win, but some complain over Sandy keeping them up all night with her non-stop chatter. After the men's tribal council, a furious Robb goes on the warpath over the fact that the tribe kept "Papa Smurf" around over Dave. Most of the men are shocked that he would be so vocal so early in the game. The women win both reward and immunity, and the men once again struggle to decide whether or not to keep Gary around. In the end a clear decision was made and although Brook remained loyal to Robb, the other 7 voted to send him home.
