the Phillies now have the most wins in the NL since Manuel took over the team. Cool. Manuel isn't the only current manager with this distinction: the Braves still have the best record in MLB since Cox took over. And since Francona took over the Red Sox, they're just six games behind the Yankees overall (thru yesterday). |

Since 2005, the Phillies have won 386 regular season games. The Mets, who lost yesterday, are now second at 385.And you guys wonder why we all fight everyday.... Amazing stat considering the vastly different fortunes of both teams since then. Truly truly amazing. -eta - ...and truly truly hilarious

The Mets and the Sillies are now tied in the Manuel Era. But for a true Manuel Era, we have to count both Manuels. Since Willie has been fired, Mets 84-61 and
Sillies are 82-59. Amazing how close they are
