So many good choices survivor.
Today's Idol of the day is... RICKI LEE COULTER I know, I know, FUCK RICKI LEE. Let me explain myself, today I couldn't decide who to choose so I went to Youtube and I was like if there's any Idols in my recommended for you I'll choose them. Thus I've chosen Ricki-Lee. It's all good though, because my Ricki-Lee hate is completely irrational and she actual has talent. She was grossly overrated, but talented nonetheless. Lots of people think she's like the most robbed person like ever in Australian Idol/Idol history which I would tend to disagree with, but such is life. To each his or her own right. Anyway today I shall post some Ricki-Lee stuff I begrudgingly enjoy. This list is for everyone's enjoyment so I'll probably throw on some more Idols I'm not personally a huge fan of later on. So she was "ZOMG ROBBED" on Australian Idol 2 (in 7th place I think), then she had a solo thing going, then she was in the Young Divas, then she quite the Young Divas to go back to her solo gig.  
I actually really like "Breathe" but I started liking it under false pretenses when she was part of YD and I loved them. The other video is her Australian Idol audition. Enjoy! FUCK RICKI LEE

It's another Australian Idol contestant, one of my favourite Australian Idol contestants ever. My first favourite Aussie Idol and one of the first
international Idols I checked out and loved.
Today's international Idol of the day is... SHANNON NOLL Shannon was runner up on the original season of Australian Idol and for a long time I thought he should have won, until I really gave Guy a fair shot and realized they were both great. Shannon has gone on to have great success with his 3 albums. He's even been doing some shows in the US as far as I know. I just adore his voice and I love listening to his music. Plus he's super hot. He's just an all around awesome Idol contestant, talented, hot and seemingly a nice guy.  
 
I'm definitely going to have to share 4 Shannon videos, there's just so much good stuff. He's that awesome. "Is You" is one of my favourite Shannon songs from his 3rd album. "Now I Run" is a beautiful song from his 2nd album he wrote about his father who had recently passed I believe. I'm all for Aussie Idol love but can tomorrow's Idol of the day be from a different continent? Oh and Shannon is awesome, it took me a while to
appreciate him but I came around soon enough, the final 3 in OZ Idol season 1 was amazing. Didn't Cosima quit?

Yes tomorrow's Idol will be from Europe I think.
I think Cosima had to drop out because she was really sick. She had nodules or something. Basically her vocal chords were fucked and she couldn't continue. Actually I think the whole Top 4 was great, wasn't Paulini 4th? |

Today's Idol of the day is...
TOBIAS REGNER DSDS or German Idol is one of the really popular shows with a lot of people who watch international Idol shows but I've never actually watched a whole season. I have however checked out someof the contestants out of curiosity after seeing Alexander on World Idol and of course Daniel K. Tobias was one of those contestants and I really enjoy his voice, it's so manly, lol. He won the 3rd season of DSDS. Poor Tobias's album sold really well selling 100 K and going Gold but was unfortunately dropped from his record label. Nonetheless I still find him enjoyable, and hottish.  
"I Still Burn" was Tobias' first single afer Idol, and "Colour Blind" is from his album Straight. Enjoy! |

It's difficult to talk about DSDS without having some laughs at Daniel K from Season 1. So today's bonus videos of him/her, Daniel.
Daniel Kubblock This odd duck had some kind of strange boy/girl persona on DSDS and was really OTT. He was apparently on Germany's I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, and made a movie that flopped hard and is being called the worst movie of all time on IMDB. He dropped the androgyny thing in 06 and is all manly now. Surprisingly this guy actually in 3rd on DSDS despite being such an oddity, but I guess that's less surprisingly when you consider Alexander of "Maniac" hilarity won.  
Two of Daniel's performances on DSDS and again I remind you, it came in 3rd place. The German's definitely have an odd sense of humour, and taste. |

German Idol's got the craziest contestants and the craziest people voting for them. They just ended another season a few months ago and the top 12 was
crammed with all sorts of crap you wouldn't believe. I watched it mainly because I was just amazed by how these people get that far and how the judges
would react to yet another trainwreck performance. In almost every case, said performance would be praised to high heavens and I would have to keep sharp
objects away from my tv. Then I reminded myself that this is not my country's Idol anyway so I went back to being calm and laughing at the hilarity of it
all.
This season had a Schlager-singer wearing big fluffy dresses. A fat blob with a mental health issue (I don't know what the issue was, nor was it ever mentioned that he had one, but you could tell by seeing and listening to his ramblings that dude wasn't right in the head 100%). A girl whose schtick was wearing hotpants, belts as skirts, sexing every goddamn song up. Funnily enough she had the best voice so she didn't need the stupid sex-schtick. A guy who made Adam Lambert look butch. A girl with a constant bitch-face who actually ended up in 2nd place because apparantly, just TRYING to sing Mariah/Whitney/Beyoncé will lead people to believe that you already sound just as good as the original. Even if it sounded like a cat being strangled. Woops, I'm sorry guys. I just needed to vent about the Craziest Idol Show that exists in the world. :D |

DSDS is definitely the weirdest Idol show. What do you expect though consider the Germans are fans of the Hoff?
Sadly I think they actually still think it's a talent competition, rather than a pure entertainment lolz fest. Daniel Schuhmacher is super creepy btw, the guy who just won creeps me out. Actually so does Thomas. I like Elli and Tobias and who knew Alexander wasn't the worst winner. |

Oh, hey! On a much brighter note, since we were recently discussing whether it's okay to post winners of X-Factor here, I've decided to grace these pages with our most recent winner: Lisa. She was pretty much the only decent contestant of the bunch and you could smell her victory from a mile away. (I'm sorry, I still haven't learned how to embed these fuckers) Lisa singing 'My life would suck without you', with a short clip before that of Lisa actually meeting Kelly and singing her song and Kelly being all 'omigosh!' and awesome. Her winning song, 'Hallelujah' (yes, THAT song). |

I'm cool with seeing X-Factor videos in here, I just won't be posting any since I don't know them. I'd enjoy it if people who do know X-Factor
posted some of their favos though. I'm checking out Lisa now.
Canada needs X-Factor now that Canadian Idol has gone bust. People really enjoyed getting a SYTYCD franchise last year so they might check out X-Factor since it's my understanding that X-Factor has singing and dancing. Cheezy wtf is that first video you posted. Also Lisa sounds great. Seems to have the same flaw as Kelly though, she's a little on chunky side and judging by the outfit in that MLWSWY video she also has horrible fashion sense. That silver dress looks awful. Dutch <3 I want to get the hell out North America and visit Europe so bad.
