May 28 was Scott MacIntyre day in Scottsdale, AZ! He got a proclamation from the Mayor and seems to be rather excited about it. So some people still love

It's okay!
I'm not flying out to the US for the show especially, I happen to have booked my vacation in the same area as when the tour's there. I nearly crapped myself when I read the tour schedule I was that excited. :D Same happened in '03 when I was a Claytard. That damn show is stalking me. |

Why did AI go to such elaborate lengths to try to convince a blind dude and a faux R&B dude that Billy Joel was coming. I believe they never contacted
Billy and flat out lied to both Scott and Matt about some bogus duet.
They chose Sarver over Scott. Fucking Sarver. I cannot fucking blieve it still. Matt finished fifth and got totally rim-rammed. They gave Norman and some cross-eyed hideous plaid wearing hack more camera time than Matt. Unreal. I got over being pissed but now I am pissed again. |

For one week, I thought it was discrimination or favoritism gone amuck. Now, I think it was just another instance of AI's inability to schedule well
causing more problems. Scott was not a pet, but Matt was, and you are right, he got reamed for coming in fifth.
They made Scott take the duet down from his myspace player. |

I was at the AI concert last night. Unfortunately, I missed Scott's solo set -- details are in the Adam love thread. However, I saw the rest of what he
did. Much better than on AI, IMO -- he was really good! He also came out to greet the fans after the concert and gave autographs (no, not just scribble!
It's as legible as anyone's.) and lots of hugs. I was way too far back to get either, but I did manage to get a picture with my cell phone and will
post it after I clean it up. He was really cute and seems like a really sweet guy. I wish him all the best!
Cheezerella, get yourself to the barricades before and after the show and hope he comes out there! BTW, were you on any of the Clay boards? The one I post at most had a member from the Netherlands, but she hasn't posted in a long time. PM me if you don't want to say it here. |
