She fucked up and her dance for your life was crap. There's a perfect example of a pretty girl getting more chance whereas Natalie did not. I blame the shitty choreography for Natalie's performance anyway. As for Gaby, she is an amazing choreographer if those dances were hers. She just has trouble learning new choreography quickly so I understood why they gave her more chances. They do have more time to learn a dance once the show begins so I think they were hoping she'd pick up the pace there and justify her getting through. I was disappointed to see Sammy go so I hope Evan and Ryan both go through.

I love watching them perform, they're so much more fun than the usual boring contemporary styles. I'm hoping the Asian Latin ballroom couple goes through. They're both there right? I agree that both brothers should go through, but per the previews it is obvious that they save them for last and bring them in together for the drama and cut one and the other gets the last spot. My only solace is that there is going to be a fall season this year and I hope which ever one gets cut will be in the top 20 in the fall. This also applies to Natalie. It didn't look like there was any real reason to cut her, other than to add to the drama and make her suffer (like they did Katee who kept getting cut at the final selection). I am 99.9% certain Natalie will be in the top 20 in the fall and with all the screen time she's had, she'll be the new "Twitch" although with talent and the judge's fave & America's fave. Where was Pono? Damn them for treating him the same way they treated Mark last season and not giving him decent screen time. Alex Wong was freaking amazing. I so want him in the top 20. Wow. I am starting to already be over Branden and I loved him before last night. I was getting sick of his constant camera mugging and it was turning me off. It's obvious he'll make the top 20 with the way the judges are riding his ass to "attempt" to not make it obvious that he is one of their pimped ones. I am going to try to wipe the slate clean and see how he does once he gets named to the top 20. If he continues his OTT camera mugging, he will be dead to me. I am not going to go into a rage when any of my faves are not selected, because I am holding hope that they are cutting some great ones for the sole purpose that they want them on in the fall and they want to assemble a really stacked top 20 in the fall to make people take notice of the show that have never watched it before. There really is no halfway with her, it's either lovely or horrifying. None of the dancers last night looked good dancing those moves. I just googled the Kasprzaks. Ryan is already an established choreographer and has been nominated for a Drama Desk award and is part of the Broadway Theatre Project, so I won't worry if he gets cut, he already has a career. I do love to watch him though.

I want my Top 20 to include Asuka and Phillip (if he doesn't get through this time, he should stand up there and give the judges a big ole middle finger to the entire panel), Tony, and the brothers. And Janette...that sassy ballroom dancer...She NEEDS to make it. As for the brothers, do you think they're just being dramatic in the previews? Is it possible that they want us to believe it's going to be between them, and they pull some shit like..."We're having a Top 22" or they pull them out first...and blather on with "We really can't have two brothers on the show........BUT congratulations, you're both through?" And goddammit...The solo montage made me a bit weepy. Reality show montages just pull on my heartstrings!

Well, they're cutting 6 from the 16, so I think there's a good chance one of the brother's will make it in if not two. But I do think that the producers try to go for photogenic dancers which is why Evan has a better chance than Ryan. But then, Benji didn't exactly have the Hollywood looks either.
