If you want to see an underrated underdog who didn't win, go see China.
If you want to see great characters, go see Gabon. And if you're the type to consider old kind men as underdogs, definitely Gabon is for you. |

Raceguy, that "whatever Sugar was doing in Gabon", is what we call taking a good season and taking a large fake, mactress-esque shit all over it
leaving us with a bitter taste in our mouthes.

Both. China is close to my country about 300 miles from Northern shore to Hong Kong. Gabon is a familiar place to see wild animals like elephant.

China is overrated here because the outcome was a Suckster's dream come true. A gay Survivor nerd won. His feisty female accomplice came in second and all
strong guys were dealt with and pretty much looked like idiots in the process. But it's stil a pretty good season regardless. Good character developpement
and storylines.
Gabon to me was just unlikable from beginning to end. Seems most people got invested in it because they were Kenny/Crystal fans and then cried that it was ruined when Sugar decided to let yet another strong "deserving" white guy win. I personally didn't care because I hated the entire cast. In fact Bob was about the only one I could bare, so at least the ending was somewhat satisfying for me. Except I only hate China because it had the worst finale ever (the second worst episode of all time). I liked the cast of both seasons, but Gabon is way better. The idol doesn't take up half the season. You're kidding right? Gabon was ALL about the idols. There was an entire episode dedicated to Sugar finding the idol. Another episode dedicated to Bob making a fake idol. Another episode dedicated to Randy playing a fake idol and so on. Well maybe not "dedicated" but definitely took a significant chunk of their respective episodes.

China, definitely. It had a better developed and likeable cast. Gabon is entertaining (less so than China, imo), but hardly any of those people are likeable.
Both are better than Tocantis though, entertainment wise. |
