You mean like liking a team simply because they managed to jump up a few places due to the wind or everyone else being blind and/or stupid? God forbid people appreciate a team who actually contributed to the slim entertainment value of a bad season, than two insignificant coattails riders who were the default underdogs who sat around while Chip/Kim, Colin/Christie and Charla/Mirna carried the important Good/Bad/Ugly roles of the season. |

When did R/C become totally awesome? I remember him being a fabulous ass in the second leg, and then kind of mellowing out, and then I don't really
remember them after that. (I didn't see the last about four legs of the season.)

If Margie waited for the wind the blow would it be so entertaining?I would have liked them x100 more if they were ever actually in danger of going home, so it would have helped. But she wouldn't have said anything as endearing or witty as anything Mel. I don't think there's anything wrong with rooting for "cannonfodder" - I just prefer teams who have more erratic unpredictable placements, ones who are highly quotable, and ones with unique relationships and Mel/Mike had all three. Linda/Karen were just uninspiring underdogs and personally my least favourite team in the whole TAR5 cast (though in a weaker season, I'd root for them by default. Whereas Mel/Mike would be my favourite any season - the fact I even preferred them over Jaime/Cara speaks volumes). The only thing I don't get is how you could find that underwear run entertaining - that was like 15 minutes of eye-rolling time. why are mommy and daddy fightingProbably because of the collective trauma of all the TAR3 Final 3 being rawbbed

(but Nick/Don had all three and yet they're overrated?) Nick/Don were fairly consistent bottom-feeders and had their best results just by being even-keeled when everyone else fucked up (i.e. India). They also weren't as quotable as I'd hoped for. But I only thought they were overrated when they made the "Top 10 Teams Ever", especially since Nate/Jenn have consistently been underrated in every one of these polls. |

I wonder if some factual questions could be added to the poll. Perhaps asking to rate some events in various seasons and include some made up events. The
accuracy of these answers could be used to generate a weighting factor to apply to the respondent's main poll answers. The problem may be that this may
make fewer people want to bother with the survey.

Ron and Chris weren't that great, and no where near the top team ever. I dont think they deserve any higher then ten, and even thats pushing it.

should've been in the Top 5.
