I don't know what The Advocate has been saying, but I'm not sure how Out is getting lumped in with the others clamoring for an official declaration. It seems to me that their editor is saying basically the same thing so many of us have been saying, that Adam has already "announced" he's gay simply by being himself: While it took Aiken years to come out (he did so last September), Lambert never felt the need to pander to conservative audiences. Although he never came right out and said "I'm gay," his response to photos of him in drag and kissing other men - "I have nothing to hide, I am who I am" - was clear enough, and more eloquent by far.

I find it funny how the audience always eeeeeeees at the "look right through me" part, like little trained monkeys! I'm embarrassed to admit this, but Adam was in my dream last night. I was watching some local show in a big tent and he was the star and afterward I went up to tell him how amazingly talented he was and I gave him a big hug and a kiss and he was super sweet and hugged back and said, "Thanks so much...I appreciate all the support." And that was it. I'm super uncomfortable now.
