Who were the two people dead on his driveway????? I can't believe they were random individuals. Flynn? Skyler? Rival drug dealers? the Kingpin guy? Saul and his Mr. Clean?

The only problem with the two body bags, no way would they have fallen and landed like that. they would have probably been destroyed to a point where it would
be impossible to identify then or bag them like normal people

I loved the ep. I cried like a baby when Jesse was trying to give her CPR :'( and again when he broke down in Walt's arms admitting that he loved her,
and again when he said he deserved everything he got.
I didn't feel like the chicken dude was going to be pissed at Walt about Hank being DEA. Nothing wrong with Walt having a pulse on the DEA as well. So what if his bro-in-law is DEA? I think the chicken dude will only exploit this connection and not be upset about it. JMO. I also think that Skylar will donate all the money that Walt Jr raised to the cancer society or something along these lines. She will believe that Walt doesn't deserve it now. Especially since she knows something is up with the first 100k. I don't think she will put two and two together about where the donations came from - but she ain't giving it to Walt. Walt needing money to pay for the surgery (since the donations are gone- {if they go that route}) could be a possible reason that he keeps cooking. Or that chicken dude black mails him to do so since he can drop a dime on him extra easy now. PS. Is it wrong of me that I giggled a little when Hank held up the Save Walt container with Walt's picture and it was perfectly under "WANTED" in the background? |

I have a low pain threshold when it comes to blown finales and thereby find it easy to bitch and moan when one happens.
I thought last night's finale was sheer perfection. My only quibble is that having Jane's dad as an air traffic controller was a little deux ex machina, but that almost not worth mentioning under the circumstances. I was convinced the stuffed toy and the explosion would be the result of the RV blowing up while Walt and Jesse were cooking in the driveway. Agreeance on the Aaron Paul love. This guy is on the verge of stealing the show if he hasn't already. Also agreeance that chicken dude knew about Hank. Making that donation was probably the most fun he's had in his twisted mind in ages. |

^No, and this show is usually so good about visual cues, so I'm 99% sure that was done on purpose.

hands down the best last 20 minutes of an season finale I have seen ever ever ever... Anna Gunn must have LOVED shooting that scene... it was flawless.

I could rant about Comcast SF, how they did not broadcast AMC last night but now that nothing of interest to anyone is on, there's the AMC channel
again...but I won't
Instead I'll be happy to pay $1.99 to watch it on my mac. Sigh. |

If it's any consolation, I get AMC via DirecTV, which still doesn't have AMC in HD.
It's a plot and actor driven show, but I'd love to have seen Walt Wanted Poster visual joke -- I missed that completely. The more I think about this, the more I like the finale. They've just opened up a whole new universe of issues with which Walt must deal. Whoever posted the butterly flaps its wings thought above, nicely said -- that's precisely what's going on. |

I wish I could do a screen shot of it but I am not good at that. I found this one though and I like the sentiment of it.

I woke up this morning and the first thing I said to my husband was "I can't believe he was an air traffic controller...."

GREAT EPISODE!!!
I was totally expecting things to go a bit differently also, but it wasn't a huge disappointment, it was just not the way I expected/imagined how things would go. From the beginning of the episode when they showed the clean up scene, I thought maybe there was an explosion from them cooking meth too, but than after the Chicken slinging kingpin dude showed up with Hank, I thought maybe he had something to do with trying to maybe kill or scare Walt or something. But the actual cause of it was very interesting. Chain reactions and all that. I just wonder where they will go with this. I too cried with and for Jessie in every scene he was in this episode. His story is so heartbreaking, I just came to love him so much, that watching him suffer is just awful. Plus his character is so lovable it is hard not to feel for the kid. I was glad Walt made sure to take care and look after him. <3 They are both going to get award nods, they just HAVE TO! Anyway, I can't wait for next season, Hopefully it will own as much as this one did. <3 |
