I was bored, so I put together a little chart of alibis people have had for the deaths. The scavenger hunt episode seems to be key, as this is when the spade was stolen and the Reverand was killed. It's also possible that this was when Mr. W trap was set.

Ironically, I haven't really suspected anyone on the top of the list, although they have the worst alibis. My top 2 suspects have been Henry and Jimmy from day 1. I think there is a huge gap in alibis between the top 8 and the rest of the field. I wouldn't be shocked if any of them were the killer.

One question is could Shea or Mrs. W physically have set up the Cousin Ben trap? (I think Maggie or Beth could if he were drugged.)

The last episode elimates the possibility of Jimmy being Wakefield's son (the scene where he pulls up in his truck to distract Wakefield from killing Abby).

However, after the last episode the first thing that came to my mind was that Abby is Wakefield's daughter. As soon as it was revealed that Abby's mom was in a relationship with Wakefield & escaped to the island to get away from him, I thought Wakefield is the baby daddy of Abby.

I also like the possibility of Henry being the murderer and that Henry is Abby's twin and was adopted and when he found out, he killed his parents and is really the crazy one in the family, setting JD up to take the fall.

I also thought that maybe the blond bartender chick is the murderer. She is pissed & jealous that Abby, her BFF, left the island and she was stuck there and is doing this to get back at Abby and her former classmates who she feels left her behind and went on to bigger and better things.

As of now, my suspects are Henry & blond bartender chick.

The fact that Abbey gave Trish a picture of her and Henry from when they were kids means that we'll probably get more backstory on Henry and his parents. As soon as I saw that picture being handed, I figured we'll get more backstory to further indict Henry as being one of our killers. Perhaps Henry is the child bore to Abbey's mother and John Wakefield, and he was taken in and raised by JD's parents?

But yeah, Groom for sure is involved.

I'm wondering why they didn't show us John Wakefield's face in the flashback scene. The fact that they didn't show us his face has me speculating that we'll see one of the current male actors with bad facial prosthetics on playing John Wakefield to show us the resemblence between John and his son(s).

No. They already showed pictures of Wakefield and he's played by a recognizable Canadian actor that I can't recall the name of right now.

I had to

when I noticed that all the flashback scenes were brighter then the usual gloomy, dark appearance of the show. So very cliche.

I've watched the scene 3 times and I still think that the man that Abby saw cutting the hedges at Candlewick with the chainsaw is Booth. It was the real Candlewick Inn groundskeeper that gave Malcolm the bag of money. We do see someone going after Abby with the chainsaw at the Candlewick hedgerow in one of the previews.

But I think even an idiot like Malcolm would be able to tell that Booth was still alive while he was burying him.

Oh really? Damn cylons, they just want to kill anything human. Okay, that rules out the actors with prosthetics playing John Wakefield. I just found it odd that they didn't show his face in the episode is all.

A) thechainsaw guy is not Booth. Did you miss the picture comparison a few pages back?

Yes, but read my post again. I agree that the person using the chainsaw that gave Malcolm the bag of money is not Booth. Your picture is of that man. Earlier in the episode. Abby is startled by a man cutting hedges with a chainsaw. You are assuming that the man that Abby saw is the same man that gave Malcolm the bag of money. I am not making that assumption. We do not see the face of the man that Abby sees. We only see him with his back facing us. Judging from the hair color, the hair style, the man's build and the black eyeglass frames, that man looks like Booth to me.

Because of what happens at the end of the last episode, I have finally ruled out Jimmy as the killer. Here is the sequence of events of the last part of the episode:

1. The killer leaves the faked note from Richard to lure Madison to the recreation room of the Inn
2. Malcolm is murdered in the basement of the Inn
commercial break
3. Abby says goodbye to Jimmy at the docks
4. Madison enters the recreation room looking for her father and is abducted by the killer.

This places Jimmy at the docks at the time the killer is at the Candlewick Inn so Jimmy did not commit the murders..

It is extremely unlikely that Henry committed the murders. The killer's main focus should be to lie in wait ready to strike and kill his intended victims. The last two murders places the killer at the Candlewick Inn. Richard was killed outside the Inn and Malcolm was killed in the basement of the Inn. Meanwhile, Henry was off with Abby digging up Wakefield's coffin the same night that Richard was murdered and Henry was helping the sheriff apprehend JD the same day that Malcolm was murdered. So, from a logistics standpoint, it is very unlikely that Henry committed the murders.

Wasn't that a flashback from when Abby said goodbye to Jimmy after her mom was murdered? So Jimmy wasn't at the docks when Malcom was murdered & Madison was lured into the room.

No, Abby never said goodbye to Jimmy the first time. The scene where Abby says goodbye, I believe, is where she told him he saved her life, and he told her that he knew it was her hiding at that time.
