A psych grad student could write one hell of a thesis using some of you guys as case studies. At least a half dozen of you stated before you watched that it
would be torture. Many more of you popped in between segments stating how painful it was to watch. Why watch, then? It is not required. There is no gun to your
head. Enjoy your lives instead!

The reason why I kept watching was to have some more validation for my Gokey-hatred.

Part 5 was the best because of how pissed Gokey looks when Slezak tells him about the producer saying he won't make an album. The way Danny says "who
said that?" leads you to believe he plans on hunting him down.

Compare the look on Gokey's face when Slezak said that about the producer to Adam's reaction when he brought up what Gene Simmons said. Adam laughed
and made a snarky little comment...or maybe not. Either way, he certainly didn't look like he wanted to kill someone or act all pissed about it. Mainly
because Adam clearly "gets" how/why some people don't "get" him. Danny is so self-unaware that he can't fathom that someone
wouldn't love him. Not to mention he's absolutely not quick enough to come up with any kind of entertaining comeback.

Yeah, I loved that look. For all this time, Gokey had been in his little desillusional Gokey-zone, Gokey'ing his way through the interview, and then Slezak
comes up with this gem and he wakes up from his self-obsessed trance and he's in Murderous Mode.

I don't know... I don't think he comes off as the horrible murderous asshole that everyone else sees *shrug* I think he's completely inept socially and the lacks self awareness but I don't think he's a bad guy. ducks out of thread quietly |

I also think that since getting booted he's probably be reading the internets a lot and has probably realized how hated he is and feels a need to
constantly defend himself. He was pretty much on the defensive the entire interview.
