Why is "Asuka" not spelled "Aska"?Isn't her name pronounced Asooka? If so, the spelling of Asuka is correct. Maybe some people mispronounce it as Aska. I liked her partner better anyway. Question: Is Brandon Bryant the muscular black guy that danced a fierce lyrical on eppy 1? If that's him then hell yeah, I want him in top 20. |

"Asuka" with the correct Japanese pronoumciation sounds like "Ah-skah", which is why my wife thought her name was "Oscar".
The "U" in the middle is elided over. Like "sukiyaki" is pronounced "Skee-yaki".

The only enjoyable parts about last night's ep was Adam dancing with the lindy hop girl and seeing Chbeeb and Ariel's routine. The rest of it was
underwhelming.
I turned the channel when that moron Sex showed up. I didn't watch afterwards but if they did encourage him to do a dance off and then send him to the choreography round, then Nigel has no room to talk about famewhores sullying his show. He acts all indignant over Sex making a mockery of the show, yet he keeps giving him airtime. If he's that upset, then don't give that waste of space any time. If anything, I'm starting to suspect that he secretly likes Sex showing up every season. |

Nigel has a lot of power, but he's not the final arbiter. If somebody else (TPTB at Fox, for example) wants Sex to be given screen time, then that's
what they're going to get.
I was surprised that Sex legitimately seemed to be trying at choreography. It may not be 100% a joke that he auditions every year (more like 92.5%). |

I'm actually pissed off Asuka wore pants. Her legs are what did it for me last season (bits shown here:)
I inadvertantly Spoiled Asuka not making the Top 20 last season... ClubOne Studios isn't specifying who's teaching each class anymore. Asuka's still listed on staff. |
