While watching Kate on the couch, she almost...just almost...had me feeling sorry for her. But then as I watched the show her real personality showed and
kicked me back to reality. She seems to lack a loving connection with the kids, maybe it's because there are so many, but she's always barking orders
and making demands of everyone. Where's the love? Not just with Jon, but with the kids - and with everyone..her family, Jon's family and friends.

Kate is a control freak and is constantly talking down to John. I'm tired of watching him take all of her crap. Even during the last interview she was
more concerned about her make-up. And everything was about her. "I'm here", "I'm here for me". She orders him around, she orders
her kids around, she orders "the help" around.
Only John said he was only there for the kids and nothing else. She is only there for herself and that is evident with each passing show. She doesn't take any repsonsibility for this problem. John may have made a mistake, but there has to be reasons for it. Just watching the show makes me wonder how he puts up with her. I'm done with this show because I'm tired of Kate always taking credit for everything that goes right and blaming John for everything that goes wrong. She does probably have a number of money making projects lined up to benefit from this already. Good luck to John and don't let anything come between you and your children. |

I can't believe how calm he/she was during the swarm of kids.I think Jon was right, it must have been on tranquillizers. Best part of the party was Alexis and her little friend Braden. Also "chinatas." But yeah, the rest was depressing. |

j/k Count me in as a "Team Kate" member. I didn't used to feel this way... but shit... things change. Jon needs to MAN THE FUCK UP! Yeah ok... you got married and had kids by the time you were 23... you never had a "normal" twenty-something life where you could go out and party. Get the FUCK over it! Be a man and take responsibility for your kids. I am not saying that he is a bad father... at all. However... Kate needs a strong man. Jon needs hand holding to do practically anything and I believe it isn't because he can't do things... he chooses not to. He gets tired of dealing with the kids (we have seen) and gives up. Kate has severe OCD (which I misconstrude as JUST making her a bitch)... but I think that when you add someone with OCD in with someone that is lazy and whiney... you get a volitile combo. Kate took the time to give the kids a 5th birthday party... regardless if she was tired, stressed, worn-out, etc... and she always seems to want her kids to have a fullfilling childhood. Jon wanted the weekend off and didn't help with his own kids Bday party (regardless of how he feels about Kate).... I'll take Kate thanks. |

First off it was sad and I felt for both of them. I think the role reversal has been really hard on Jon. It was not what he expected. That being said they are
both at fault.
Jon knew Kate was a bitch when they got married. Don't tell me she could hide her true self and he seemed happy enough through most of the seasons. He seemed to accept and be fine with her being the Alpha in the relationship. In the Hawaii eps you could see the love they had for each other. Kate is a bitch and I think she could be a little softer with Jon. I think she could have thanked him more for all the things he does. Praise is a good thing and I think she forgets to praise him sometimes. She is also a crazy control freak and it seems she cuts people off when they upset her. But as Assface killa says she did take the time to plan this party. Jon did nothing. He is pissed that his life is not going the way he wants and he is acting like a petulant teenager. She is mad and hurt and is cutting him off like she seems to do. I think they could work it out if they both sat the hell down and actually talked to each other. I bet they really haven't. I believe Kate when she says he is not acting like the Jon she knows. From what we have seen he is not acting like the Jon we all know. He seems like he is in the middle of a midlife crisis at 32. So yeah, they both kinda suck but I want them to work things out.... |

It was just within the past few weeks that we saw the pictures of the kids going to the party store with the camera crew in tow. Since Jon was so adament
about wanting to end the show then he might be distancing himself from the filmed cattle parades- like going to the store.
And she doesn't seem like Mother of the Year, she seemed really pissed off when the kids were talking to her while she was stuffing the pianata. She doesn't have a lot of patience for anyone. |

Was that the kid's actual birthday or the birthday for the show? Cause I could swear that in the past they have had Birthday Parties not even close to
their actual birthday for the sake of the show.
Did anyone else get the impression in Kate's talking heads that she as saying "Jon cheated on me. Maybe's it's my fault, sure, I'll take the blame, I'll be the bigger person since he isn't. But I'll forgive him (on the surface) and we can be a wonderful family", "But how dare you accuse me of having an affair. HOW DARE YOU!!!" |
