I voted for him but I still can't decide if he'll be a big hit or completely forgotten. He's SO BORING.
He has the potential to be huge though. Or the worst winner ever.

The ones that those that hated the outcome should be upset with are the TPTB, the judges, and the media that made it seem like Adam already had the title. I
know some people that like both but voted for Kris because Adam had it in the bag and they did not want it to be a blowout.
Another gal that was complaining about the outcome claimed
to be too busy to vote. If you don't vote you can't complain.

The media, as far as I remember, has NEVER gotten behind an idol contestant the way they did Adam so it wasn't JUST the judges who were seeing something special every week. I don't think they needed to temper their comments to Adam at all BUT their comments to Danny were ridiculous and the truth is if Gokey weren't SO hated Kris probably wouldn't have made F2 in the first place. The judges clearly wanted Adam and Danny at the end for whatever reason and they attempted to sacrafice Kris and Allison with their beyond stupid critiques. Kris and Allison both outsang and out performed Gokey every single week and in the end the Adam fans rallied behind Kris at F3 and got him past Gokey and in doing so we rallied Gokey fans to get behind Kris in F2. I don't think if Adam and Danny had been F2 Kris' fans would have so overwhelmingly gone for Danny. Kris fans seem much more inclined to go for talent over "moral issues" so I have no doubt Adam would've won against Danny without a problem. oh well, water under the bridge. We have two (hopefully three with Allison) albums to look forward to this fall so I'm excited for that! |

While I will be the first to admit being a rabid Adam fantard, I don't think Kris deserves what is going to happen to him. I do feel sorry for him that
every story isn't about him winning, it's about Adam losing. Anyone see "How Green Was My Valley?" That is the movie that beat
"Citizen Kane" at the Oscars, and that is what it is known for. Does Kris deserve that? No. Is it inevitably going to happen? Yes.

I must admit I haven't really listened to too many of his studio versions. I downloaded his version of She works hard for the money because I loved it on
the show but I was seriously disappointed in the studio version. It was so boring.
I haven't downloaded anything else from him because I don't want to waste my money on a song that I'll end up listening to once. |

I've always liked Kris as a person, he seems like a super sweet guy. As a singer he was always kind of meh to me. I can't remember one song he sang
on the show, except for Heartless, and one song does not a great singer make. Still, I hope he has a successful career for as long as it lasts.
