Lebron earned tonights win. The officials did there best but it was all LB on the last second shot. Magic will win this series if the NBA doesnt try to fix it.

What a great game, and series, so far. Cavaliers will definitely have their hands full in Orlando.

Man, i wish Lebron missed that shot. Why the heck was Pietris still covering Pavlovic at half court? ARGH!

If Lebron and Howard switched teams, how good would Cleveland be? And could anyone stop Orlando?

Since Melo helped Syracuse win the basketball championship I had been jonesin' for since the mid-seventies, I'm rooting for Denver. Interestingly, Melo
is the only one of the team superstars to have a tie-in with college basketball.
Projected viewership for the four possible match-ups. Last year's LA-Boston series averaged a little over fourteen million viewers. Cavs-Lakers: 13.8 million viewers. Cavs are a small market team whose defensive tendencies negate a little of the excitement of LeBron. In terms of tradition, playing style, star power, fan base and market size, Lakers are the chalk. Magic-Lakers: 12.3 million viewers. The Magic's playoff ratings have been a little stronger than expected. Their games tend to be more aesthetically pleasing than the Cavs. Casual fans like to see games where teams approach triple digits. Cavs-Nuggets: 11.2 million viewers. Melo draws a million upstate New Yorkers. Chauncey adds a hundred thousand Detroiters. Magic-Nuggets: 10.3 million viewers. The NBA adds half a million conspiracy theorists who think the NBA is rigged. |

That was a terrible game, in terms of the play on the court. The Nuggets were atrocious on the offensive end, and had the Lakers been even adequate (31-45 for
69%) on the free throw line, it wouldn't have been remotely close towards the end of the game.

Man, fuck the Lakers. I'm so sick of this league cause its always the same freakin team winning. Whats the point of cheering for anyone other than the
Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Pistons, Rockets and Spurs? In the last 29 years, TWENTY NINE YEARS, only 8 different teams have won the championship. And thats
including the solo 76ers and Heat titles. Ridiculous. Go look at the MLB and NFL list of champs. Since 1980 there have been 13 different NFL franchises with
Superbowl wins, and 17 different MLB franchises with World Series wins.

Orlando now has the lead, if Dwight Howard gets two more technicals he's gone for a game.

The Nba Powers that be is Dwightellous and have a hard on for a Lebron V Kobe Finals.
The officials will try to make that happen if they can. |

Go Magic!
If Lebron made that shot I probably would have broke the TV...he already made 1 of those shots, no way he makes 2. But if he did make it, it would have been devastating for the magic, their 5th buzzer beater loss. Dwight Howard only has no more technical fouls to give, 1 more and he is gone for a game...unless they reverse todays technical of course. Anyway, the magic have clearly proven to be the better team this series, definitely a more rounded team, they have many guys who can play. And Lebron James is the only reliable player on the Cavs. I think the Magic have this series locked up (they should have already won though....Grr) |

where are those ppl who acted like Cleveland winning the nba title was a foregone conclusion?
I knew the Magic would give them all they can handle. Have to admit I didn't expect them to outplay the LeBrons the way they have. Even after winning 66 games and sweeping Atl/Det, I never thought the Cavs would go all the way. I've said before that I like LeBron a lot but no more MJ comparisons from the media (at least for now). Black Jesus doesn't miss a jumper (or a ft for that matter) in the final minute of a pivotal playoff game. That fadeaway three towards the end of ot was pretty damn awesome though. As for the Lake Show, they got what they wanted from their trip to Denver but I'm annoyed at their lack of killer instinct. Lakers need to win tonight or else they're finished. Done. Thuggets can lose gm 5 and still have a realistic shot of winning a gm 7 in LA. As great as Kobe is, I just can't see the Lakers winning an elimination game on the road considering how well the Thuggets have played at home. Orlando is the best team left and will win it all. Funny but I remember you saying that LeBron would destroy Kobe in the finals or summat. Floppy strikes again. Could you be any more of a fraud? lol But yeah, Orlando is fully capable of winning it all since they present matchup problems for both LA and Denver (Magic went 2-0 vs Lakers in reg. season). However, the Magic are schizo so they're just as capable of blowing a 3-1 series lead. |
