That was pretty fucked up. Danny Gans' people arrange this great "product placement" with like 10 mentions of his act for the 05/06 episode, and
then Danny dies on 05/01.

I honestly wouldn't have known who he was if he hadn't died last week..... still not exactly sure who he was other than he had a show in Vegas.....

I'd never heard of Danny Gans until his death, so it was weird that last night's show pimped him like that. Turned out to be a nice tribute to the
Vegas star. Clearly it was taped before his death, and glad they didn't try to do voice overs where we'd see the mouths say Danny Gans and we'd
hear them say Wayne Newton.

Um the show was new last night - anyone catch it (but me)? I thought the other one a couple of weeks back was the finale. Is this a new season already? LOL at
Gary and Allison hitting the sack (lots of times). They were baffled that this keeps happening! It was cute!

I remember she got clingy after her and what's his name split - she started coming over to Gary's all the time and then he started playing match maker
for her.

I was a huge fan of Gary Unmarried in the first season; I thought it was hilarious, and I was a huge fan of Allison and especially Tommy and Louise who play
their roles to perfection. But Season 2 so far is terrible. They have completely changed the dynamics of this show. The departure of Krandell is a significant
loss.

As soon as I saw the huge 'Radio Station' set I though, uh oh... they're in it for the long haul with this one.
Bummer, I really thought we left radio station comedies in the 90's. |

yeah, so far season 2 is sucking, I don't miss Krandell, but the brother character really blows. They need to give Gary a girlfriend and have Alison
single. this show is at it's best when it revolves around these two at odds.
They're trying to hard - Max Gail was good, but he's gone, bring back Jane Curtain and Martin Mull on occasion. |
