Wonder if this will be the final straw for him, and he will not be returning. This year was exciting for him because of Adam, and he probably can't bear the thought of going through another dreary season, as they will be hard pressed to find someone as entertaining. I wouldn't be surprised if he announces he's not renewing his contract in the next few days. That was so weird. And a bit rude. I kind of agree as well. Regardless, check out Lambert at number 4 today on Itunes, ahead of Kris who is 7 and 9.

It was odd that no one was talking much about Kris but I think that may be because his album will be more an AI engineered product and he's less up for grabs. But I also got the sense that people like Matt, Anoop, Lil, Scott and Alexis could wind up with albums and that Randy might produce Lil. Oh and Kara was shooting off her mouth about how she wanted to write songs for the kids. Poor kids.

MANY former top 10 contestants there. Bo Bice looks like a skinny Jesus. Really thin. I heard that people in the business are actually excited about Jason Castro's album coming out in October. He apparently has some good songwriters. One thing I really learned tonight is that it's only half about getting a recording deal. The other half is having a great producer and team of song writers, but that is no different than from film and TV production. You need good writers, directors and cinematographers or even great actors can look like crap.

The other half is having a great producer and team of song writers, but that is no different than from film and TV production. You need good writers, directors and cinematographers or even great actors can look like crap. This is so, so true. So many Idols and runners up have tanked because of shitty songs, and when it comes down to it you aren't going to buy something you don't like.

Well, I can't lie - I am bummed - but mostly about the concert tour - I wanted Adam to be the climax. Kris will be....anti-climatic. But honestly, Kris does have a really good voice. He sounded great last night. And he's obviously done well on Itunes - I think he will be just fine. Adam.....is freaking EPIC! He was all kinds of awesome last night, up, down and sideways. I just ate it all up....the Kiss medley was quite the spectacle. You've got to be a serious performer to hold your own with those guys. But....we are the Champions.....when Queen appeared - I was squeeeeeeeing all over the place. THAT was the highlight of the show for me. Kris sounded nice, but Adam had major Freddie Mercury going on - it was such a beautiful thing <3333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 Couple of other thoughts. Everyone keeps saying that Kris will be saddled with No Boundaries. Really? Will he really have to sing it during his media tour? I've only watched 3 finales: 1, 7 and 8 - and I found this one awesome - seamless and entertaining - kudos to the production team, but I have to say: Obviously it was set up in mind for an Adam and Danny finale......but seriously, Adam got a medley with Kiss, and Danny got one with Lionel Ritchie? That was supposed to be comparable? And lastly, I got a little giggle out of of Adam singing : Beth I know you're lonely, and I hope you'll be allright.....cuz me and the boys will be playing all night......

This is the only time that I have ever downloaded anything from an Idol during a show. I am a dork, I like Adam's studio version of No Boundaries. What can I say, a true Skank at heart! Posts: 565 (05/21/09 07:57 AM) More Recent Posts	I didn't recognize Justin for the longest time. He is soooo changed. Facial hair, very dark/tanned and sorta Rasta-like hair. I had to be told who he was. He hung out with Kimberly Caldwell. Daughtry was there. Brandon Rogers. Tons of former top 10 contestants. Many seem to work for local TV, radio and music shows or columns and the air was very festive. It was sorta like a feeding frenzy for this year's contestants doing tons of interviews and getting introduced to everyone in A&R, managers, etc. I really think they all won getting to be finalists. Maybe it wasn't like this the first couple of years but now just placing really means something. Met Paula before at functions. She is one of the smallest women I've ever met and a knockout, especially considering her age. And actually very smart and articulate but a little goofy/fun. She was giving away presents tonite. Sleep time, very tired.
