It certainly had nothing to do with the fact that he screamed through most of his songs, was singing to a niche market, was completely overrated and overpimped. Nope, none of those factored in at all. I don't think anyone ever said that Adam wasn't the most polarizing contestant of all-time, but calling him overrated is a joke (I'll give you overpimped.) Like 2% of the people in the history of the known world have had his upper range. As much as he may seem like a niche artist, everything that's old always becomes new again. At the best he becomes a major Rock star, at worst, he's packing them in in Broadway (no pun intended.) ;) If by "upper range" you mean that annoying banshee shriek, then only 2% of people having it is probably because evolution is trying to breed it out. And you stupid people that are obsessed with thinking it is actually good keeps the annoying trait around.

Still probably the worst coronation song ever. I've been reading comments on it, and it seems that people actually seem to like it. I really disliked it but then Carrie was awesome post-show that I just ended up liking it. Lol @ how Idol really disregarded Kris: unshown (GREAT) audition, he had a sing-off that was also not shown... most underpimped winner ever!!!
