Um, no melting down here either. I think Kris is adorable and talented. I think Adam deserved it more, but for whatever reason - the gay thing, the Gokey thing, the Christian thing, the southern thing, the cuteness thing or just that the majority of voters liked Kris better - I still think Adam will be just fine.

I thought they were both humble and gracious to the end and I've no doubt they'll continue to be friends and support one another.

And yeah, Adam isn't saddled with that shitty song.

There have certainly been enough examples of non-winners being successful so I'm not worried. This isn't like season 2 when all we had to compare to was Justin's lack of success.

And I felt bad for Kris too...he shouldn't feel like he needs to apologize for winning or that Adam should have won. After seeing the interview they did where he said he hoped the religious thing wasn't earning him votes that it was about singing, I've no doubt he's questioning how much of a factor that turned out to be and that's really unfair for him and I adore him more for saying what he did. He is talented and he deserves success. It seems like even he feels like the win was "tainted" somehow and that's really too bad...he should be celebrating without question of why he won.

Simon is a disrespectful ass. His overpimping probably had as much to do with Adam losing as anything.

I can't wait to see what Adam does next.
