It's hard to rank them because I feel like they each are children to me. I am a sad, sad individual.

18. Micronesia.
I know a lot of people don't agree with me on this pick. I love the season a lot, I just didn't like the outcome. I was extremely bitter over the fact that we were given information before the season began that it was going to be a full on all-stars, and I was excited about that. Then, when it turned out to be fans vs. favorites I was really disappointed. I enjoyed the season as a whole, I just wasn't a fan of how things turned out. I am by no means a fan of either Amanda or Parvati, and I don't even drink the Cirie kool-aid that most everyone else here does. To see Fairplay, Penner, and Yau all leave early was a big blow in my opinion.

17. Gabon.
Maybe it's just because it's a newer season, I don't know. Usually I can find a few characters to root for or latch on to. Here I didn't really have a particular person I really enjoyed. I somewhat liked Bob, but he was kind of boring. Sugar, Crystal, Matty, Randy, Corrine, and even Kenny all kind of annoyed me. Susie was a non-entity. Still a good season though.

16. Fiji.
When this season started I thought it was the weirdest one yet. Everyone had a weird name; Yau-man, Boo, Dreamz, Rocky, Mookie. It just seemed strange from the beginning. It seemed like it was almost a parody at first, like it was the first moment I was almost thinking "jump the shark". But, it turned out okay. I enjoyed Yau-man, maybe I'm a mindless follower, I don't know. I would love to see Dreamz come back sometime on an all-stars version just to see how crazy it would get.

15. Marquesas
I know it will probably look controversial to have Marquesas so low, but I can't help it. This season kind of suffers the same fate as Gabon. I didn't really have any favorites. I somewhat enjoyed watching Boston Rob, but I wasn't a huge fan really. I didn't care to see him leave when he did. I've actually appreciated him more as time has gone by. I didn't like Kathy at all from the beginning. I actually enjoyed her more in All-Stars. She just annoyed me here.

14. Guatemala
I hated the Steph and Bobby Jon twist, but I loved the fact that it villified Stephenie, whom I hated all the way through Palau. I loved Judd's antics. I enjoyed Jamie. However, it's not a season I like to rewatch a lot. It's kind of an ugly season to me for some reason. For me however, it was saved somewhat by Judd and Jamie.

13. Amazon.
I loved a lot of the challenges in this one. They were different up to this point. Especially when they all had to grab chunks of meat with their mouths while their hands were behind their backs. That was a cool moment I thought. I wasn't a big follower of Rob like so many others were. I enjoyed Matt, and I feel like he got a bum rap on the finale. I think it has a lower placing because of the amount of people I hated. I hated Dave, Alex, Christy, and Jenna. They were all some of the most awful people to be on the show for me.

12. China.
It was a very good season, but not quite one of the best like a lot of people think. I hated Todd with a passion. He was so full of himself and he continued to tell us how smart and intelligent he was. He went on and on about how he controlled the game, but he really didn't. He didn't make any bold moves to control the game or the players. He was all talk. The only reason he won is because other people made more mistakes than he did.

11. All-Stars.
I rewatch the first episode a lot. Sad, I know. I was just blown away at the time because all of these people were playing together. I ate up every minute of it. However, the only downfall was the fact that a lot of the bigger characters left so early. And,.....Amber? Really?

10. Tocantins.
I really enjoyed it. It had a lot of characters I just loved to watch. It seemed like the first season in a while with some big-time characters. We had Tyson, JT, Taj, and of course Coach. I don't think this season would be ranked this high without Coach, however. He harkened back to some of the old-school big-time characters. In the post-ASS seasons it feels like we haven't had as many big-time characters as we used to. We've had Tom W., Yau, Shane, James, Cirie, and Coach. There's a few more in there but it is lacking compared to the earlier seasons. But Coach elevated this season for me. I laughed everytime he was on screen. It was good times.

9. Vanuatu.
I really liked this season. I loved Chris and Twila. I think it's an absolute shame that Twila hasn't been asked back for an all-stars thing yet. I feel like so many people hate Chris because he overcame the women's alliance. As we all know, if you have male genitalia on Survivor, the majority of Sucks is gonna hate you instantaneously. Sucks has always been in the pro-women camp for sure. So, here was redneck, long-haired Chris taking out a female alliance led by Queen Ami. People were pissed. I loved it.

8. Australia.
Maybe it has a higher placement because it was such an early season, I'm not sure. When you look back at it, to me, it seems a bit boring. However, it had so many moments that I always remember. We had the beef jerky, the fire whooping Mike's ass, the flood, Jerri's ouster, the long-ass pole-standing merge challenge. I don't know why, but one of the funniest moments in Survivor history to me is Jeff Varner standing on the pole and dancing as he says, "I feel so good." It's not even that funny, but the way he said it made me laugh. It was gold, baby.

7. Exile Island.
I love Exile. You talk about big characters, well this season had some large ones. Terry, Cirie, and Shane elevated this season. Hell, there was even people like crazy Courtney and Bruce. They had their moments. It's a crime against humanity that we haven't seen Shane back yet. I don't care if his whole schtick was an act or not, I want him back. Oh, Aras was a piece of crap though.

6. Cook Islands.
I loved Cook Islands for some reason. From the mutiny, to the chickens, to Ozzy wiping the floor at challenges, to Billy declaring his love, to Penner's commentary. It was a great season in my view. I feel like Yul is one of the best winners we've ever had. Yul and Ozzy is possibly the best final two we've ever had also. If it's hampered in any way, it's by the presence of Adam and Candace. God they deserve to die in a some horrific way.

5. Thailand.
This is probably freaking some people out. But, I loved Thailand. Brian is the greatest player to ever play the game,....well, maybe save for Hatch. Everybody talks about these dream match-ups like Terry vs. Tom, or Rupert vs. Hatch in terms of fishing or whatever, but in my view, the biggest match-up I always wanted to see was Hatch vs. Heidik. Who is the real top dog? Anyways, this season was also hysterical. Robb was freaking hilarious in the first half, and Clay was funny throughout the whole season. I loved when Jan got treemail and there was money inside of it. She came running out to tell everyone and she starts yelling to them. They were all in the water and they could barely hear her. She kept going on and on about how the money was hers in a joking manner or some crap like that, and Clay got pissed off because she wouldn't say what the challenge was. A mad Clay is a funny Clay.

4. Palau.
This was a great season. From the school yard pick'em to Ulong's demise, it was pretty top-notch in my book. I felt like I was alone in my hatred of all things Steph, but a lot of people joined me when she was back again the very next season thankfully. Anyways, I loved Bobby Jon, Tom, Gregg, and James Miller. God, I wish James had stuck around longer. He was good times. But really, I'm excited at the prospects of Tom coming back. Hopefully the rumors are true.

3. Africa.
Like Thailand's high placement, this probably has people screaming. But, again, I loved this season. Lex and Big Tom made this season for me. I know everyone hates Lex now, but I have always been a fan. I just think anyone that gets on a reality show like Survivor and actually says things like "I'll cut his throat" deserves applause, frankly. And, Big Tom of course was a riot. From the boil, removing Lindsey's tick, yelling at Clarence, pretending to be an elephant, to telling Mama Kim to shut up, Big Tom provided the laughs, possibly moreso than anyone in the history of the show, maybe.

2. Borneo.
It's hard to rank any season above the first one, but I'm going to. Borneo was great, though. Everything about it was pitch-perfect. It might be the only season to have sixteen somewhat fully developed characters. If you watched all of the season, then you know something about all sixteen contestants. It doesn't get much better than Hatch, Sue, Rudy, Colleen, Gervase, and the gang. Also, it had the wackiness of Greg Buis. I wish they could somehow unearth Greg from wherever he is and bring him back to play again. That would be interesting to see.

1. Pearl Islands.
From start to finish, Pearl had it all. The first episode was, in my opinion, the best first episode of any season yet. Sandra could have sold Trish to a lesbian for God's sake. It doesn't get any better than that. Complain about Rupert all you want, hell I'm not a big fan of his either, but he did provide some great moments. And, of course, Fairplay Fever ran wild. Jon brought a new dimension to the game, and that was "lie like crazy about random things." It's a new rule that's being followed today, even by Russell in Samoa. Also, Sandra was a great winner and I'm looking forward to seeing her again.
