I'm pretty sure that the only other thing DI may use in their "DialIdol Score" formula is possible the Maps... give greater weight to more populated states, but I think that's pushing it on their part, as we can't really assume that a whole state will sway one way over another.

Trust me, busy percentages are all that matters.. The more votes you get = the busier your line is. That's the ONLY statistic that DI has that is of any use. That Matt thing may have happened because of:
1) text votes - I doubt it, but possibility
2) There might be a flaw in DI's busy percentages in that [I don't think] they update the busy percentages when the west regions... i.e. what happens in the West has very little influence on the busy percentages. Try checking the DI graphs for busy percentages for that week.. what also could have happened is that Kris' and Adam's shot up later on in the evening, and Matt's shot down.

There's a lot of possibilities. But usually (check for yourself), the person at the bottom of busy percentages (if more than one line, avg out their percentages) has usually been the one to go... there have been exceptions, like with Lil, where people were somehow messing with the system.
