For instance last night I learned if a bad guy is firing a gun at me, it would be a bad idea to hide behind empty cardboard boxes like the poor security guard did last night. Maybe Paul Blart was hoping there were bullet proof vests in the boxes? Not a bad finale at all. Not season 1, but definitely an improvement. Would have been better if Renee offed Jeanine Garofolo, but I guess you can't win em all.

Anyone think they're bringing her back full time next season? I mean I doubt Elisha Cuthbert has anything else going on. btw: ReneeGoddess <333 such a breakout star! Gorgeous, badass, well-acted, love 4eva. This season would have been NOTHING without her. I can't remember the last time they introduced a character to the show that just fit so well and instantly feels like they're irreplaceable. Buchanan? I guess? But hes dead and I don't miss him, sooo...

The last guard who was shot was standing IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HALL! Not peeking around a corner, not behind an upturned table. He might as well have just said "HEY! shoot me next!". Kim was just lucky we were in the final two hours, or she would have been couger-napped again.

Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	'24' producer to discuss impact of popular culture on public policy Howard Gordon, a Princeton alumnus who is an executive producer of the television series "24," will participate in a session titled "Content and Discontent: '24'" at 8 p.m. Thursday, May 21, in the Stewart Film Theater, 185 Nassau St. He will discuss the impact of popular culture on public policy with Paul Muldoon, chair of the Lewis Center for the Arts. The event is free and open to the public. Gordon earned an A.B. in English from Princeton in 1984 and wrote for "Spenser: For Hire" and "Beauty and the Beast" before joining "The X-Files" as a supervising producer. He initially went to work for "24" in 2001, temporarily left in 2004 for another Fox series and rejoined the show in 2006 as executive producer. In March, network officials announced that "24" had become TV's first carbon-neutral series, fulfilling a goal that Gordon outlined two years ago. Using compact fluorescent lighting, biodiesel-fueled generators, renewable electricity sources, hybrid vehicles and digital scripts, the show cut more than 40 percent of its emissions during its seventh season. Producers bought carbon offsets to make up for the rest. The May 21 event is part of the Lewis Center's Performance Central series, which includes high-profile lectures, readings and performances from a host of notable artists in the areas of theater, dance, music and the visual arts.

I think he did it about three times too. Weren't at least a couple of his phone calls done from outside the terminal? I don't love Renee either. I wanted her to be more bad ass, less fretting. Jack doesn't fret; Jill shouldn't either. But if she's the focus I'll watch. Not because I want to, but because it will be on. My husband is addicted. I said this morning to someone that I thought the finale sucked. That was probably too strong. I didn't like the very end. I would rather have had a scene of Olivia doing a perp-walk through paparazzi than with Jack's conversation with the Muslim dude. My husband thought that was the best part because it's so "relevant to pop culture discussion". I thought pop culture was still talking about which Jonas brother was hotter, but whatever gets him through the night. I really liked the first hour of the finale, but I was waiting for something really big in the 2nd half and never really got it. If it was something big it was majorly understated. Our big action scene of the finale wasn't really Kim on fire was it? I wanted more.
