I am in no way an 18 year old girl, but I watch more shows on CW than on NBC.
NBC is creatively bankrupt. I feel like their last straw was Kings and nobody cared to bite on that one. |

Not 18 here either (I'm on the opposite end of the demographic and quickly edging my way out.)
About the only thing I regularly watch on NBC now is Heroes and-well, we don't need to get into how crappy this last season was. (I've read the threads and I know others agree...) I just want something creative, something different. NBC and the CW give me the same crap, over and over again. |

There hasn't been many new hits this season. There's been, what, The Mentalist, Fringe, and maybe Lie to Me? ABC's relying on DWTS and three
shows that just finished their fifth seasons, so it needs some fresh blood in there, and of course NBC and The CW are in complete shambles. CBS should
probably start getting worried too with CSI starting to tank in the ratings.
As for Fox, Fringe at 9 on Thursdays is bold, but what else could they really put there? I'm more confused with them renewing Dollhouse yet sticking it on Fridays with Til' Death as a lead-in, but then I guess they don't want to waste a viable time slot on Dollhouse. Should be interesting to see how SYTYCD does in the fall. Where's Kitchen Nightmares gonna end up? |

The only show on the CW I watch is Supernatural (which is awesome for those of you with off-season DVD marthon ideas) but it's a min-net.
My view is that NBC has given up. Short term gains for having the 10pm talk show, but that'll even out within five years. NBC is the future CW. (Anyone else around here miss WB? UPN?) |

ABC is definitely placing its bets on Flash Forward becoming the show to take over the lost Lost mantle.
And yes, it does have an interesting premise. The real question is: what else is there? What else will make me turn off HBO and Showtime and will make me watch new network programming? |

CBS picked up 6 new shows for the Fall
- The Good Wife (Julianna Margulies) - NCIS Spinoff - Three Rivers (medical drama starring Moonlight's Alex O'Loughlin) - Miami Trauma (Jerry Bruckheimer medical drama) - Undercover Boss (reality show) - Accidentally on Purpose (sitcom) Kind of surprised they passed on Washington Field. That show looked interesting. |

More procedural crap for the elderly. Oh well, at least CBS knows what works for them and sticks with it.
NBC is a hot fucking mess. Heads need to roll around there. HOWEVER, my manpanties are moist for Fridays. Chuck and Dollhouse - it will be my favorite night of television.

MEDIUM is about the only thing that could make me bother with CBS at this point. Say what you will about FOX and ABC, at least all their hit shows aren't
paint-by-number procedurals.

ACCORDING TO JIM is a cockroach. You might think it's dead. You might even see it's little corpse with broken wings and legs up in the air, but turn
your back on it, and then it's gone!
I'm gonna need more proof that ATJ is DEAD DEAD DEAD. |
