I don't usually watch this show, BECAUSE of what has been said in this page of comments. Example - This season had a local family whose house was rebuilt
to accommodate the family's two childrens' wheelchairs. BUT - their old house was a very good looking home that I would feel lucky to live in. I had to
wonder why they had to completely demolish the old house and build a new one? There's no way they could just purchase a home more accommodating to
wheelchairs? As has been said, new homes are expensive, and I guess I'm like a lot of others when I say I "ASSUMED" when the new houses were
built they were already paid for. Wrong! I can only say I will continue not to watch this show, cause it's all drama with no sense behind what they do...

Ty Fucking Pennington.
He is reading from a script people! He doesnt do anything! He is the host. He reads what the writers have him say. The producers set the whole thing up, not Ty. The producers to all the work, then the writers and the directors and the people on the building crew do the rest of the work. Ty does the least of anyone..but he keeps saying "Can we do this? We are going to have to do this fpr them! This family does SO much for others and we are going to do this for them! Can we do this? Can we give back to them for all their struggles? Let's make this happen folks!!!" -- so then the stupid family hugs and thanks Ty as if HE did anything except read (badly) a script(badly written) and pretend to cry. Same with the "Design crew" they have so much help it's not funny then they get all the credit. They also read off of a script.. I hate this fucking show. |

or any of the eps? no job w/a shitty house is just as bad as no job w/a luxury house-cept they foreclose on you quicker. |

What I was wondering was how did they let them adopt 7 kids with an inadequate home for them to live in?
I mean 9 people with one bathroom? For these kids tho the house was fine, perfectly adequate and much better than living in China. The video was fake showing the blind girl hitting the wall with her head. |

I watched it. It was pretty good with them not only helping the family but the community. That dad seems really great - trying to help out a lot of people.

I plan to watch the follow up on the news as well. That neighborhood is one of many that really needed help.
If they had gone to the part of the same street the McFarlands live on, but just south of 10th street? They probably would have gotten shot at. Indy is funny that way. I've heard from a few sources that local people are grumbling because Mr. McFarland has been complaining about some things with the house, and he's been removing some of the landscaping.
