After two mainland seasons in a row, I'm ready to go back to the islands.
And yes, the new location looks gorgeous! |

I have always been hoping for New Guinea to be used. I'm wondering if they've wanted to do it there but have not gotten clearance to do so.

Wow! That is one of the best finales. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, and the Erinnownage in the first half was pretty great, as was the Stephen VS. JT fight at the FTC. If only the entire season had been like that with so much doubt and tension within the Jalapao instead of editing them as a happy-go-lucky threesome, it'd have been an excellent season. As it is, I'm happy with it. 16 players, no HII played or even talked up, a F2 with a jury of seven, a male beating another male in the F2 instead of beating a female goat, a unanimous vote between two seemingly worthy adversaries instead of a Fiji redux... I think the season definitely worked. Congrats to the faithful few who picked JT!!! Unlike a fluke pick of Edgically unviable Bob, I think there was some potential in JT's edit, so bravo to those who caught on. I won't name names since I know I'll forget some, but you know who you are (Phoenix =D )! It looks like the big winner tonight is the PREMIERE EPISODE. I may have to compile my thoughts that have been floating around since the Gabon finale about how Edgic shouldn't predict a winner but instead be focused only on eliminating people, but I'll save that for later. Love you all, Edgicers! |

i <3 U, unduli!!!!
i also would like to send a huge hi-5 to taks, he always had something on the money to say about JT's edit. I only wish the last couple of weeks weren't so busy for me work/personal wise. I really missed being more involved. Ahhh work. love/hate relationship at it's best. other high-5's to blake and denny. The only other 2 who were consistent with their votes. And Chapera rocks too..lots of good arguments all along, even if he bailed at the last minute!! Oh!!! and ColleenLover.... how you pinpoint the final 2 or 3 is beyond me, but damn! love love love. And last but not least.... Congratulations JT Thomas on winning Survivor Tocantins!!!!! eta: spelling and more spelling

LOL@ Swine thinking Edgic based their choice off of his comments in the thread.

I just love the camaraderie here - even if I thought that Edgic was a complete and utter waste of time, which it very well could be, I would always come here just to chat with the regulars. It's also the best place to celebrate after the finale. Looking back at the chart, what threw me off of JT was the double 5's in visibility right at the merge, but that was actually the best time for him to have in. In comparison, Stephen never had a 5 and his visibility was actually kind of low. That MORD definitely held true this season. And bravo to those who made the Stephen/Marcus comparison. Editors got us two seasons in a row, so I have to give a shout-out to them! Great job, guys. |

Is it possible for Coach to have an overall rating of OTTNN even though he may not end up with one all season? I hope he's off getting kidnapped by natives
somewhere next time they do an ASS.
Also, I have to give an OTTNNNNNNNNNN to the F3 challenge. That sucked massively. |

JT won 7-0. Congrats to JT.
Erinn was seconds away from winning the F4 IC. JT would have been booted and Erinn wins in the end. Oh well. I didn't realize that Stephen was so hated among the jurors. Those FEW of you thinking that Sierra got a positive overall edit - give your heads a shake and smarten up. JT pitches a shutout and Probst and the editors are so happy that they place practically ZERO doubt in his win. Terrible storytelling. |

Phoenix1269 wrote: High-5 right back at you. This was an awesome way for me to get started in edgic (and I assume the only time I'll ever be right). And congratulations to everyone else who helped stimulate the discussions we had going on, regardless of winner pick. Next season should be fun, I'm ready to get back to an island. Turning the gloat into high gear: Had JT as my #1 in 8/12 episodes, including the first episode and the merge episode. And I've been backing a Stephen/JT F2 since before the merge. Hell, I devoted a ridiculously long essay begging people to keep JT in their minds after Ep. 4 when all the discussion seemed centered around Stephen/Erinn/Tyson. I'm going to be doing a little dance as I frantically study for my finals (at least I know there's one thing I didn't fail this weekend!). |

The pivotal point was when he got Coach's support At that time he controlled who went home. What we didn't see os how much Stephen controlled thing before that. |
