I could not find the Mr. X scenario, but I agree with him and you - it is plausible. Was it not Erinn and Stephen who they made a big deal out of making fire or not?

Per Jeff's blog Stephen's best chance for a win is vs Erinn. He might vote to tie, but backs down on the re-vote and it probably still cost him at F2. |

If Jeff plays up this whole "Stephen and JT turning on each other" thing, there is also a possibility of us having a repeat of the Palau F4. After
winning Immunity, JT tries to go for broke and targets Stephen, much like Tom tried to target Ian. And just like Tom, it will backfire when Stephen beats
Erinn in the tiebreaker. I kinda still stand by my original theory though... (and I'm happy others do too!)

MR it is also possible JEFF is just bullshiting us and they dont turn on each or other or at the final TC they throw each other under the bus.

If I've said it once I've said it a million times no one dangles their participles like Trix.
It's pretty clear now the shocking vote was Thursday's.

Taj saying emphatically the final three are JT/S/T Yeah, I've been thinking for some time that Stephen and JT are not *quite* on the same page. JT definitely made some F3 deals with other folks than Taj, and might even have meant them. I've never been certain that he was as trustworthy in terms of Taj. Stephen and Taj were shown at several points being allied and Stephen has mentioned Taj consistently when talking about decision making. We've also heard Stephen say several times that he doesn't want to face JT in the F2. I think some of this is CBS hype to make the season more cliff hangerish, and if there is any serious drama/betrayal it will happen at F4. That could be several things: Taj throws one of the boys under the bus or Taj herself is thrown under the bus. I have some hinkyesque (like modelesque, but more survivoresque) feeling regarding the fire: we definitely saw Stephen make fire on EI AND it's been bothering me that when Taj went to EI with Eddie, HE was the one who handily made the fire. I'm probably making too much of that. So I would not be shocked if Taj went at F4 in a firemaking standoff against Stephen, even though I would like to see her at F3. I absolutely think we'll wind up with the expected F2 of JT/Stephen and unless Stephen does some fancy talking that JT is likely to win. So far no one seems to hold a grudge at JT and Coach clearly understood that it was Stephen and not JT who "changed sides," so he's likely to think that JT was an honorable warrior out of those that are left. (Gotta watch those tricksy wizards, My Precious.) Oh, and I absolutely discount Jeff's talk about Taj vs. JT would make it difficult for the jury to decide since they like them both. Taj appears to be a coattail rider (I don't think she was, I just think that's how it's been edited) and JT can always claim to be the mastermind/director of the plan. I also think that the whole "Taj doesn't need the money" issue would come into play. I've said it before: I think Stephen can win against either of the women, and JT can win against any of the other three. Unlike Rob Mariano, he seems to have avoided the problem of jury dislike. In fact, the only one who probably has folks on the jury who actively would vote *against* her is Erinn. I don't know if it was said on purpose or just a Freudian slip, but I laughed when Coach said he was the last of the Timbira tribe since Erinn is still in the game.

who was it that Taj made the fire for a few eppies ago? She was shown starting one in her lap of all places. I could have sworn it was JT.

It was JT. He tried and tried and she did it for him.

^^^^^^ Hmmm. I didn't remember that. I probably am making way too much of Eddie George starting the fire for her then.
Firemaking challenge between JT and Stephen at F4? It would be great stuff, but I'm pretty sure JT will win the spider immunity, so if there is a tie (and again CBS could be way overhyping this) then it's more likely to be two of the other three. How is Erinn at fires? I know she didn't have one on Exile, but not sure that proves anything. |

Someone posted this in another thread.
guys, its not a JT/Stephen finale unfortunately. Its Erinn + Stephen F2 trust me :D Taj is 3rd and JT is 4th JT is blindsided during a tie at f4 after a revote. Taj is blindsided at F3 when Stephen picked Erinn to go to the finals. Stephen wins btw, http://www.youtube.com/wa...amp;feature=channel_page check this out, Erinn mentioned she wanna prove to them what happens , she wants respect from the final jury how she played a great game |

I've been thinking that maybe Erinn tells JT and Stephen that Taj was going to vote for the one that didn't have immunity. (Of course, this is assuming
that Taj and Erinn didn't win) This makes those two vote for Taj because Erinn gives a very believable story about how Taj didn't think that either of
the boys would bring her to the final. This is the carefully constructed lie.

Oowatanite wrote: Stephen and JT are shown discussing it. That will no doubt play a part in a future vote quite probably the F4, which is where I'd suspect the "betrayal" to take place. After one shocking vote, a seed of doubt is planted by a carefully constructed lie that, after the second vote....
