Loved last night's episode. The "garbage calls" stuff was great especially.

And last night is why the street cops are more interesting than the detectives

How is this show doing ratings wise? Is it a bust? It is a hit? Just wondering if I should be getting invested or not.
Overall the show is OK. It's not must see at all for me and if I couldn't watch tv in the timeslot for some reason I doubt I'd go through the effort of recording it but that being said I have seen all the eps so far and it's usually good. Is it wrong that my favorite part is the messed up relationship of Tammy and that Detective? I do have to ask - what the fuck was up with the out of no where magical pill addiction of Ben's partner whatever his name is? Did I miss something? When did he become addicted to prescription pills? Were the eps shown out of order or something? .. and yes as you can see aside from Ben and Tammy.. I have retained none of their names. |

A few eps back his partner saw the back brace and asked him about it. You've randomly seen him take a pill when he was alone. In another ep you saw him get
some pills from his ex and she said he's going to get caught. Last week when the biker tackled him he looked in agony when he stood up

Yeah, wow.. aside from the biker at the tattoo place tackling him, I don't recall any of that. Maybe I should be paying closer attention.

Glad to see that Janilla's okay and she didn't die. <3
Next week's episode looks epic. I'm so glad that the show has been picked up for more episodes! |

Even though I hate LA cops, I love this show. But it is pure fiction. Murders and robberies have less than a 30% chance of getting solved. Anyway, everyone
on this show is hot in their own special way. I really hope NBC gives this series a chance to grow an audience.

I love this show. It sucks it's lost half it's audience from the first two episodes. Though being up against Gray's or whatever can't help.

I'm hooked and will stick with the show as long as it lasts. I hope it lasts a long time. I think the only story line I could do without is the detective
with the crazy wife who walks around taking pictures. IMO that particular story line takes away from the rest of the show. Otherwise, I see this as an LA cop
version of ER.

This show has some great potential. I love the production. Great characters. But the storylines are weak and all over the place.
I only hope next season will bring it. Give me something strong. Shield-like, Wire-like. Hell, NYPD Blue-like. Step up, Southland. Bring it! |

The Unusuals gets cancelled yet this piece of crap will probably run 10 season. Shame.

Great episode.
That is why I will never get involved with a husband and wife fighting. Are there really cities that have fireworks displays for Memorial Day? |

Holy shit this felt like a finale showdown! Loved the Willie Nelson song at the end as it finished up everyone's story. Man I hope TES isn't dead! I didn't expect that to happen. I thought for sure Janilla was gonna be killed. I found
it odd that she never mentioned that her bf was the only one that knew where she was. I hope she doesn't text him her new address
Looking forward to the next season. |

You'd have to hope that won't happen now that she's under the thumb of the witness protection program. Interestingly enough, Shawn Hatosy was in
the HBO film, Witness Protection. Ok, maybe that's only interesting to me.
I enjoy the Tammi and Sammy plotline. It's amusing how she's trying to "find herself," and came up with the gig hiring out the drug-sniffing dog, only to have it bite the pothead kid right before she pocketed the weed. Some of the writing is convoluted, but the cast is great. |
