So NO one was just a little disappointed by this episode?

I mean, don't get me wrong, I have been gagging for Coach to leave since day one, but it just wasn't that glorious for me.

Firstly, the entire episode was nauseating. He got probably about 30 minutes of the entire episode, and EVERYTHING he said made bile rise in my throat. His begging not to go to Exile would have been slightly amusing if they hadn't then spent 10 minutes showing him on Exile and talking bullshit after bullshit after bullshit. I ended up fast forwarding through most of it and ended up with like a 15 minute show. Like, I get that the editors were trying to be ironic and shit but it was just wayyyyyy too much.

His shit at the immunity challenge was even worse. I don't even wanna get into how pathetic that was.

Not to mention all the bullshit he spouted at TC. And yeah, he did eventually get ousted thank god, but after so many weeks of having to put up with this pathetic mother fucker I was hoping to feel satisfaction and vindication upon his departure. It was sort of a blindside I guess but the editors had already made it clear that he wasn't feeling THAT comfortable with his alliance and I don't think the vote was THAT much of a shock to him which made it just not that great really.

I'm glad he's gone, but suffering through that episode - and in fact the entire season - to see him go out in that anticlimatic way was really really really annoying.

Oh but! Brendan and Sierra sleeping through his poem was hilarious.

I kinda agree that it was anticlimatic, but what else could the editing corps done? They gave us a big finale of Coach doubletalk and let him go.

If only they'd blindsided him instead of Tyson for the Juror 2 spot....

They could have edited it to make Coach more smug with his position in the game. Showed everything he said about how he trusted his alliance and how stupid, dumb, female Erinn was going home thanks to him, the Dragonslayer. Cause you just know they had more of that material. And they could have NOT shown the stuff he said after the last TC about how he was at JT and Stephens mercy and he wasn't in control of the game anymore.

If he had been edited to be way more smug and sure of himself this episode than he was, the blindside would have been totally epic. But due to the confessionals they did show us, he already seemed to be partly convinced he was going which ruined everything for me.
