today I caught the show. Victor was reminscent of his original character. It's nice to see him again.
John Callahan aka Dr Baker is looking a tad slimmer, I think. I was in lust with him when he was on Santa Barbara. I didn't watch him on AMC. so... I can see that nothing much has changed since I watched last week. Good old slow movin' DAYS. |

Rachel Melvin shot down the GH rumors. She doesn't want to be on a Soap Opera right now.
Emmy Nominations come out tomorrow. I only really see DAYS getting nominated in the Younger Categories. I think they'll have a small chance at Best Drama/Best Directing if they submit the plane crash. |

She basically said she didn't want to do soap operas for awhile. She wants to try other projects.
Here was a quote: "- Melvin's plans do not include another soap. She says she wants to "stray from the soap path" for a year, but she may end up coming back to daytime if she finds that that's what she liked best. However, she wants to explore other areas first." |

^^^I give Rachel Melvin props for taking a chance. Hard to leave a steady paycheck (even from a stinkfest like Days) to face the unknown. Good for her.
Did anyone see Ali Sweeney on The Biggest Loser finale the other night? She looked great and did a good job with the live show. |

A lot of actors do this, it's the creative juices thing I guess, and it's possible she's made enough money to survive quite sometime without a steady paycheque. That's not to say she won't pop up on some soap or sitcom or drama someday (she is great at that bad girl drama stuff). She is a fabulous actress. |

I really hope Blake Berris gets an emmy nomination today. I doubt Arianne Zucker will get one since she's in supporting and was clearly lead. I don't
fucking get why DAYS put Renee Jones & Lauren Koslow in lead. Kate & Lexie haven't been lead characters in well over 7 years. I wouldn't mind
seeing Tamara Braun get a supporting actress nod. She rocked it as Ava.
