I'm not sure if he was supposed to be creepy/irritating/omniescent, I thought the actor who played him failed at all three. He reminded me of an uglier Grant Show.
I liked it better when he was a figment of Ben's imagination.

Could he even be a bigger disappointment? At the end, who wasn't hoping Ben would kill him?!?!

I thought he was great. I can't believe they introduced and killed him in the same episode

I don't think Jacob is dead. That was just way too easy of a kill.

Yea Jacob was all kinds of awesome.
Having him traipse through the Losties' pasts was a great touch. I hope/expect we'll get more. |

I liked him. I got a Jebus vibe from him, especially with Hurley.
If I remember the book which this show is based on, Jacob gets to come back at least once. |

Jacob knew Ben was going to do something, why the fuck did he just let him stab him? And what's the fucking loophole where BEN can kill Jacob? I DON'T
GET IT!!

He looked and sounded way to much like Toby from "The Office" for me to take him seriously.

Jacob knew Ben was going to do something, why the fuck did he just let him stab him? And what's the fucking loophole where BEN can kill Jacob? I DON'T GET IT!!The Other Guy couldn't kill Jacob directly, so he had to get someone angry enough to want to kill Jacob, and also needed to use someone else(Locke) who could gain access to Jacob. So basically, Locke died, The Other Guy assumed his form, because Locke told Richard Alpert in the 50's that he would one day be their leader, and was later assured by Jack that he was special, Richard trusted him to be their leader, thus leading him to Jacob. The best part is that The Other Guy told Richard to tell Locke that he would have to die to get his friends back. It seemed like a noble cause because we all thought it was Locke telling his past self to do so, when in reality it was an imposter. At least that's my way of viewing it. Anyone else? |

I was pretty pissed at Jacob for getting Naydia killed. Am I the only one upset about that? I don't know what to think of him after that episode. He seemed
pretty good up until the point that he caused Naydia's death.
