I used to whine about the ridiculous CSI clones and refused to watch any of them. But I was forced to watch this and I love it. I'm starting at the beginning and adore Tony. I'm aware that Kate dies/leaves/is written out so I'm
enjoying her while I can. But I really do think this show has something on the others that you actually...um...care about the characters involved.

FRANK BLACK being back on my TV made me moist. That was an awesome ep. Oh and what's her butt from Lost too. Tony is always a breath of fresh air on
this show and I love it. The chemistry between all six of the main characters is what brings me back each week and never ever disappoints. I stopped watching
all the CSI shows a couple of years ago and have yet to miss a single episode of this one.

I was confused about the NCIS show the other night....When the wife was telling Gibbs about the boss having a detached retnia from boxing well the dead man had a detached retnia too ....So was the dead man really using the bosses medical records way confused..............???? |

I also agree.. This is a first.. I could not get into Tuesday's eppy at all.. When it was all said and done, I was confused as heck about what the show
was about.. I'm glad I was not the only one that felt it..

The show kicked major ass last night. Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out.

I've only seen the first three seasons, mostly because I still haven't warmed to Kate's replacement. Ziva
just...never seems warm like Kate did. So harsh. But, I'll keep watching when I get the next season...it's a nice filler show. And Michael Weatherly
is yum.

Did anyone watch this last night?
I loved: The whole Tony/Michael banter/fight. Abby being all jealous. Ducky putting Tobias in the chokehold. Ziva up the tree. And Gibbs telling Tony to stay on top of the Ziva situation. Such a great episode, I can't wait for next week. |

I agree. I loved last night's episode and the promise of more complex story arcs.
I didn't like the LA -spin off episodes. I won't be watching that show. The magic of this show for me isn't in the formulaic hope to be a franchise/live in the franchise/breathe the franchise. The magic is the casting of NCIS's crew and the writing for them. The casting of the LA group wasn't magic; I don't give a shit about any of them and couldn't care less. That's not going to change with watching because I won't watch. I started watching NCIS because of Harmon and McCallum. The rest of the cast were new and entertaining discoveries (except for what's his name who plays dinozzo who is still annoying..though I did like seeing him get beat up. Now I can hope that Ziva shoots him.). I didn't like whatshername as the director. I don't care for whatshisname the director now. Maybe it's the whole concept of having an interacting director that I don't like. I agree with the posters who wrote that the director should just shuffle papers and be off screen as much as possible. If the writers end up making the director always be a problem or get involved in the bigger story arc problems then that is already an old plot device which should be retired. Meanwhile, no matter what my complaints are, as long as there is Harmon, McCallum, Perrette, and Murray then I will watch. The other 2 are expendable. |

I have to disagree Zaph, I lurve me some Tony. His character adds a lot to the show. I thought last night's epi was fabulous and I am looking forward to
the finale, albeit with some trepidation.
As far as the spin off is concerned, I won't write it off at this point, but I am not that invested in it. The characters really don't pop for me. Maybe it is a case where one has to see where the writers are taking it. |

^^ Well, I loved that Tony got his ass kicked and his arm broken, does that count?
It wouldn't hurt if Ziva shot him. Killing him would be optional, causing him pain and shutting him up would be nice. I miss "Mr. Palmer' (in my best David McCallum voice). Where has he been? |

Yeah I miss Palmer too. He has been conspicuously absent of late.

I almost didn't watch this week, since the past two eppys SUCKED SO BAD.
however, the show is back on track. I don't know why they had to shove that other crap down our throats. I don't enjoy the "secret agent" type of storyline on NCIS. Just give me a run of the mill murder and the banter between our characters. Does anyone else think the new Director seems untrustworthy? Maybe it's just me. I love all the characters except Ziva. She makes me miss Kate and I didn't much care for Kate! lol |

tigeranne wrote: I thought that was what that episode with the "detached retina" was alluding to. Mr. Director's boxing mentor with the detached retina did the Marine corp service that Mr. Director took credit for, that Mr. Director's career is built on lies. Or that's what I think the point of that otherwise pointless episode was. On this past episode, I was sorry that Ms Tits, the security chief, wasn't implicated in the plot as a baddie but was happy to see the end of smug smarmy Mossad guy. That actor just oozed scum. I hope it was his acting ability. I think I have to watch the episode again just to see Dinozzo get beaten up again if for nothing else. |

I didn't see that ending coming at all, poor Ziva.

Yeah but its a beautiful set up for the NCIS team to rescue her. I think perhaps her Mossad Director Daddy was so intent on getting this training cell, that he
puts his only remaining child, Ziva in harm's way. The guy torturing/interogating Ziva is likely the guy that killed her little sister, hence the reason
Daddy David is soooo interested in taking him out.
