Of the three, I thought Mike looked the most healthy. I thought Helen and Tara looked great if you did not look at their faces. They were both so thin and
drawn that they looked as if they had had aged twenty years. I too, do not think either of them can keep that low of a weight for long. They might stay thin,
but they will not stay prison camp thin.

TisKathie wrote: I agree. They obviously both tried hard to lose the weight required to win the competition, but now look to be at a weight that will be hard to maintain in a healthy manner. Perhaps it's seeing them against their "before" footage that makes them look even more gaunt. If I'd never seen Helen or Tara before last night and didn't have that "before" footage to look at I might well think they were both just slim ladies as opposed to gaunt. Hopefully neither will balloon now the final is over. Pete has definitely put on a few pounds since his season, but looks so much better to me than he did on his finale. I thought Mike looked great, technically he could probably lose a few more pounds and still be in the right zone for his height, but I think he's done wonderfully well and should attempt to maintain, or at least lose at a healthier rate now he's not gunning for a prize. |

Tara & Mike looked great. Helen scared me - she just kept flapping her arms and waving and it was horrible! Those scawny arms with all that extra skin and
the hollow pits - ew. She looked like she was as old as Jerry with her wrinkly face. Gives me the shivers. Tara and Mike are the real winners - they'll be
getting hit on.

My thoughts on the finale:
Ali looked fuckin fantastic. She is a great example of a healthy size. Helen looked painfully thin. I don't care that she won but she is too damn thin and looks cancerous. Mike and Tara both look fabulous. 250K is chump change compared to endorsement deals. Disappointments - Carla, David (not even a bit surprised), Joelle, Aubrey. They could all use another season. And a big fat fuckin ha, ha to Ronberg for losing. Pawned by and old senile guy! |

I'm satisfied that no one I hated this season won anything. I'd rather have seen Tara win, but thems the breaks.

I'm fairly certain that Tara weighed 155.

Shocking night. Way to go Jerry and Helen. Yes, Helen looked unhealthy. Too thin, but I guess she had to do that to win. Poor Tera. I didn't like her, but
after all those victories she couldn't win the one that mattered. Mike looked good, but I didn't want him to win because of his overconfidence. Plus
his Dad annoyed me. Kristen looked awesome too! I thought she had Jerry beat. David - why did you bother going on this show? Biggest gripe of the night - three
hour finale. Thank goodness for DVR.

Ali looked fuckin fantastic. She is a great example of a healthy size.Totally agree. She looked wonderful!!! Three hours was way (weigh) too much for the finale. Wished that Tara had won, but props to Helen. |

I bet Helen went out last night and ate herself a massive dinner, drank a bottle of wine and smoked 10 packs of cigarettes!
I thought Tara and Sione both looked fantastic. Tara didn't look too thin to me at all. Sione is really hot. Too bad he's attached to that asswipe Filipe. If he had been on a season by himself, I might have actually rooted for him. I wish somebody would kick David in the ass. He could have lost that 42lbs in two weeks on campus. He's just not motivated and it kind of annoys me that he fucked up Daniel's chances at losing even more than he did. If Daniel had been able to stay on campus, he would have lost over 200lbs I bet. Mike is going to have chicks climbing all over him for a while. I hope he doesn't get fat again but there's some bad genes in that family so I don't have a good feeling about him staying thin. Ronberg will pork up again immediately and poor young Max is going to be fat forever. |

Congrats to Helen... didn't want her to win, but she sure proved that she could do it at home. Hopefully she'll get to a healthy weight, she sure
looked bad last night.
I was disappointed, but not surprised, by David and Carla. You could tell from the short time they were on campus that they were not motivated. They want to lose the weight, but they don't want to put in the work to do it. I was very surprised at Daniel. When he was voted off, he looked like he would fall right back into his old habits. He still has a long way to go, but it does look like he's on the path. I hope he can stay with it and turn it all around. I do have one problem with this show, and they beat that into the ground again last night. A lot of these players gave their sob stories that diets and workouts and surgery didn't work, they needed to come on the show to lose the weight. That's just a load of crap. All they did while on campus was learn how to eat healthier and work out properly. No magic, no tricks, no surgery. Just hard work and changing eating habits. Being on the show definitely helps, no question about that. When you are put into a situation where your entire existence revolves around learning proper food portions, healthier choices, workouts and weight loss, you will get results. Even those who weren't as motivated had some incredible losses while on campus. Peer pressure and confrontations by a trainer certainly put your mind in the right state for change. The people on this show are inspirations for everyone. They have shown that change can happen. I loved Jerry's comment last night that once he got it through the mental block and let his body take over, he was able to change and lose the weight. I'd like to see that message delivered more frequently. Weight loss is nothing more than reducing the calories you take in by eating less and eating better and burning more calories through exercise. It really is that simple. The hard part is finding the motivation to start making the change, and the hardest part is maintaining that motivation. Neither of those are available in a pill bottle or surgery. |

HAHAHHAHAHAH RON LOST
Remember when he and Sione criticized Helen for leaving the "Protection of the Pack"? She made the right decision all along, and the people who stayed in that protection pack, Filipe and Kristen, all got backstabbed. Protection my ass. |

A 3 hour show and when tara wheighs in and Hellen wins we see them for 15 seconds and then the show is over.
they jack around for 2 hours and 57 minuts and they HAVE to put the weigh in after the last comercial break and then there is no time. Live shows suck ass. Congrats to hellon, this proves that cigerets and starving still are the best way to lose that last 5 pounds. (the margon by which she won) |

They really just need to have all the contestants stay on the ranch all season.
Keep the top prize for those still officially competing, but change the at-home prize to just the best of the eliminated prize. If the show really cared about them getting healthy and into good trends, they need to spend all their time there. Obviously they still need to train the players, but if they explain that everyone stays on campus regardless, they don't have to worry about them being seen on camera and confusing everyone. Plus if they are still there, they can fuck with the game and tell people to vote off the bitches. It would be an exciting season, plus they could use them as part of twist throughout the game. That way everyone can get the healthy habits they need to lose weight and even if people decided to be cutthroat and vote off bigger players for fear of them in the end, they could still be there and get the help they need. But as far as them last night, Mike and I are built very much the same, minus the hanging flaps of skin on his arms. We are both technically outside of our BMI because of our height. Take off a few inches and we are then not considered overweight. He can stay around 180-190 and be healthy. Tara looked really good, I didn't think she was too thin. She seemed to be at the best weight for herself. Helen however did look sickly thin at a second glance, so she does need to add a few pounds and she'll be fine. But she wanted to win so she sucked out all the fat she could. |

So, did Ron kill Mike in his sleep? I'd sleep with one eye open until leaving for college if I were Mike.

I think Kristin, Tara and Mike thought they had it in the bag so they didn't work as hard and fell short. No one expected Jerry or Helen to win anything. |

I wouldn't say Tara and Mike didn't work as hard. I think Mike was chasing Tara's weight loss percentage and he didn't even consider Helen as competition. In fact, no one did because Helen was one of the lightest contestants to start. At least Mike and Tara look healthy and are probably at a more manageable weight to maintain for the long term which is the ultimate goal. Helen, on the other hand, looks like she starved herself for the win. I would not be surprised if she has a major gain once she's done with all her appearances and such to promote the show. |
