If Ted is successfully flipped, he could also reveal his final 2 pact with Brian to Helen, and she switches. And Penny only flipped because she wasn't getting anywhere with Jake. Plus, Jake wasn't even aware of this, so he still should have tried.

Even if Jake somehow pulled Ted in, no other Ghuay Ghan was ever gonna flip.

She was analytical enough to see it was easier to go with Brian, Clay and Jan than with Penny, Jake and Ted. If somebody warned him about Brian's sneakiness, she would've almost certainly wait until F5 to make her move with Jan and Ted, so it wasn't gonna save Jake anyway. I'm not saying Jake had a better option, because he got himself in a situation where nothing could save him.

The problem is that Jan didn't want to (or didn't understand how to) turn, and so that was a lost cause. Instinct says to turn on whoever is a backstabber when you find out, and given that Helen had a close relationship with Penny (and said in a post-show interview at survivorfire that she wished she aligned with her), a coup could have happened at 7. Again, like you said, it might not have happened, but it was definitely Jake and Penny's best chance.

If the Samburu's woulve voted out Lex at final 9, Ethan probably wouldve been gone at final 8, then Tom at 7, Kim J at 6, and the Brandon, Kelly and Kim couldve gone to the Final 3 together. But Brandon just had to fuck it up and go with Lex, insuring a Boran victory. Samburu had they're savior come knocking at the gate with open arms to overthrow Sir Lex, but the Dunce Brandon fucked Lex and they voted out Godess Kelly. And then Brandon was voted out next, Brandon coulve made it to the Final 3 had he not voted out Kelly

For one, Brandon not telling Kim P/T-Bird/Frank what his intentions were for voting out Kelly, Kim P freaking out and refusing to vote with him, Brandon ultimately voting against Frank of all people, Boran for targeting Kelly in the first place. Just...wow, lol.

I remember when Ted asked Jake for a name, and Jake said he couldn't give it to him, and then Ted went to Brian and Clay and said "he's scrambling and making things up saying someone told him to vote for me."
