Right or wrong, the designers quit because of Joan and they said as much directly to Annie. Of course, when Annie correctly brought this up the Muppet Corpse continues her usual endless bashing of Annie for bullshit reasons - all with the free pass of Trump. Hello? With regard to the personal attacks.... "Well you said some pretty nasty things too, Annie" - no Trump, she didn't say shit until being bashed over the head non-stop for 6 weeks before finally saying something back. Then he defends/enables Rivers even more, "Come on Annie, you don't know for sure they aren't in the Mafia... you really don't know" - what a piece of shit thing to say.

Oh yeah, how about when they are announcing the money, Ivanka, "...Joan raised an impressive $150K and Annie, as expected, raised $450" then an immediate jump to "3/5 criteria... Joan won the challenge... Joan won the challenge".

Such total bullshit. This thing was so fucking rigged against Annie.

Trump said at the beginning of the final challenge that it would be judged on 5 criteria, then laid them out. Because of the celeb factor, it was more who you knew than your ability to fundraise. How much could you hit your friends up for. Annie did that very well, she had the connections with a lot of money, and she did it by saying "Do you know what Joan said about poker players?" Yes, she won the fundraising part because she knew the right people who would give her money as a donation for her to win. And good for her and her charity. But everything I saw of Annie was all about Me Me Me! She took over the last project Brande was in charge of and just kept telling everybody "I did this and I did that because Brande told me to" when actually Annie had taken over the project. But she set it up so she would get any credit and not be hit with the blame.

It seemed like everybody except Brande had a hard time working for her, she would take over everything. Annie couldn't trust anybody to do anything at all and nobody else did anything good enough for her. Joan seemed to be willing to be a team player when that was her position. Personally, I don't care if her party planner was the head of the firm or not, he couldn't deliver on anything. Annie's party planner came up with some good ideas and worked to arrange ice sculptures that would be donated. Joan's guy couldn't get anything, not even the right colors for the draping, and I didn't hear many original suggestions from him. From what we heard, and granted, we didn't hear everything, Joan was not nasty to him, he quit because he didn't want to work within the time constraints. And it was pretty crappy of that firm that they didn't even call Annie and let her know.

I knew for me at least, I would hate to work for Annie. I don't know how I would feel about working for Joan, she would probably blow hot and cold, but I still think I would rather work for Joan than Annie. That should be part of criteria too. Annie was a cool cucumber, which she has to be to be a good poker player, and Joan's interrupting and criticisms in the board room were irritating, but both of those women had their claws out. The major difference is that Joan did it to your face and Annie did it behind your back. Tom Greene was right, Annie let Joan get under her skin, and Annie finally let that out in the final board room. Had she stayed calm and collected there, she may have won, but she didn't. If I were hiring somebody, I would have real problems with a person who was constantly talking trash about her opponent behind the scenes and behind the back. And I think it was really Melissa who really won the product branding part of the challenge for Joan with her shared moments pictures.
