Crap. Another Season 3 DVD buyer who doesn't weigh in on whether TedMosbyIsAJerk is on the soundtrack.
Associated question: did they have the Splapsgiving countdown timer on the main menu or otherwise recognize that it once existed? AND DAMMIT DO YOU HAVE ANY FRESH INSIGHT INTO THE GOAT?!? Bleat. Bleath. I'm running out of oxygen on this issue. This is now my 200th post about the goat. Jealous? Admit it -- you are. No, you are. |

Another Season 3 DVD buyer who doesn't weigh in on whether TedMosbyIsAJerk is on the soundtrack. The "Ted Mosby is a Jerk" audio track is a bonus feature on disc 3. No reference to the countdown outside of the episode AFAIK though. ETA: There is a video for Marshall's "You Just Got Slapped" though. |

OMG. There's an interview on E! Online with Josh Radnor . . . which reveals some serious spoilers when it comes to Ted's future at the end of the
season and how he will meet the mother. BEWARE.

That link is so tempting. I think I'll do my best to wait until the season is over and then I'll check it out. |

I can't get the video to play for me.
Oh well. I probably don't want to know anyway. |

The DVD does include the TedMosbyisaJerk soundtrack.
No new insights on the goat. The only thing that we know is that this will be the year that the goat is in the bathroom. The season finale this year is the goat episode, so prepare yourself :) |

After tonight's episode, does anyone else think that Ted is going to meet the mother when she pulls him over for speeding?

Anyone mind summarizing the video in spoiler tags? I can't get the damn video to load because E! has one of the shittiest sites I've ever seen.

I'm not going to watch it until the season's over. I hate spoilers.
I'm mildly annoyed. I thought that Stella's return would somehow lead directly to the introduction of the Mother, what all the exact right time at the exact right spot stuff of last week. But whoom she's gone again. Oh well, Ted did have the yellow umbrella in his hands limping back into the apartment. Terrific seeing Lily back. |

Just watched it. The majority of the video actually just spoiled tonight's episode. Two interesting tidbits from next week's episode though that I
will put in spoiler tags (since E's site is a bitch), so click at your own risk.

Yeah, why was Ted still carrying the yellow umbrella at the end of the episode ? This was several days after the rainstorm scene. Weird.
I must've missed an episode. Did Ted quit his job, or was he fired ? Loved seeing Fran Fine's mother again. |

Oowatanite wrote:Fired. They had an entire episode about it, where Marshall and Barney perpetuated this huge lie so Ted could continue working at Goliath without knowing he was fired. I know everyone's looking forward to the goat next week, but next season's finale should also be good with Tony's movie premiere. |

Goliath just fired him from their project. I thought he went back to his firm and quit. I was kind of bored with tonight's episode. It was weird that he
had the umbrella. I'm guessing Stella is pivotal in Ted meeting "the one" because she helped him believe in "the one" again.

I think at the end of the episode Ted said he quit his firm in his usual philosophical mess of words, and then Barney or someone called him out on being fired
and he admitted to it.
While the topic's still up, I found it interesting that in the same week both Ted and Michael Scott left their companies and decided to form their own businesses, though the circumstances and results were pretty different. |

Just remember Goat People, old Ted (Bob Saget) has a really iffy memory. That goat thing might have happened the year after.
Hell, at this point old Ted could blow your minds with, "Wait, it wasn't a goat. It was a llama. Poor Barney." |
