Meanwhile, another castaway takes a bizarre approach to Exile IslandI took this to mean another castaway (other than Taj) goes to Exile under a set of circumstances - kinda like Taj agreeing to send herself, was "bizarre."

with debbie in the background??? Even if everyone *thinks* Taj has the idol, i still wouldn't stand there reading the clues in front of Debbie. For one
thing, it proves without a doubt which one of them actually is holding onto the idol and secondly, it shows that JT/Stephen/Taj are making a GROUP decision in
reference to the idol. That's something to be done behind closed doors, i'd think.

I know it seems odd they would do it in the open but why would they be reading treemail after the IC(note the orange shirt). It looks kind of like the way the
clues are written.

It could be that Erin's comment is pretty benign. Never to let a good possibility pass him by, however, Stephen attacks Erin's comment in front of
Coach so as to solidify Coach's vote for him. The others follow in suit.
It could be that Coach "injures" himself (or vanity) during the IC and drops out of the game (so as to avoid being voted out). The others look on stunned. Erin makes the rude comment. In front of Coach, Stephen goes after Erin. Coach winks at Stephen as he is about to be evacuated and states, "Hey Wizard, did you hear me say 'Dragon Slayer' when I won immunity to ICs ago?" So Coach at the Reunion show can say (and likely believe) that he wasn't voted out and was on his way to win the game...

Interesting thought winterland. At the very least they might have Coach thinking he's made it past Erinn. Not sure what Erinn thinks about that, but she
thinks she's on thin ice. He might get away without costing him her vote.
The Ponderosa scenes show the jury at the TC, I don't think Coach withdraws or is removed beforehand. He could be a total drama queen at TC and withdraw then. |

Agreed, it will be a huuuge letdown for me if his boot isn't as humiliating as possible.

So seriously, all noble gases aside: We used to think that dreamteamers roughly approximated the contestants in gender, size, etc? But we don't think that
anymore?

I dunno. I'm trying to remember the dreamteamer pic that someone posted preseason, but I'm having a hard time remembering much about it except there
were a few attractive men, lol.

Adding to above riddles Essentially the same but worded a bit different per TV description:
A thoughtless comment by Erinn makes her fellow alliance members view her different and Coach puts on his best game face in an attempt to avoid elimination. Also, a bizarre trip to Exile Island causes division at camp. |

So Coach's 'best' game face is him rolling around on the ground?

Hmmm, JT doesn't really use adverbs in a standard english way either, it can't be that...
What if it's not a bizarre trip, it's Ben's bizarre account of his trip. Whatever fantastical story he has about the stick and his injury and pygmies and mystical ungooglable things like that. Prompting Taj's confession about having him committed. |

true...Coach could have been attacked by rabid Sand crabs that are a yet unidentified species. Huge things, like 2 feet long, as illustrated by JT's
hands.
oh and did any of you see that newspaper article showing that Coach did indeed take a canoe down in south america? or was that just a photoshop job? |

birdlady wrote:I like your thinking, birdlady. If I'm reading your suggestion correctly, you're asking if the Erinn clone in the Dreamteam run-through of the spider challenge means she survives this episode's tribal council, right? I think an important auxiliary question is how far in advance the Dreamteamers actually test the challenge. The best example I can come up with is this shot of the China production board: http://truedorktimes.com/...ina/images/e0/e0tv18.jpg They show "Test block: Name that Spoon" on the same day as the third Tribal Council (and the day before the "Great Balls of Fire" night challenge). I'm assuming test block means Dreamteam, and I hope I'm wrong, because Name That Spoon was the Ep6 IC, a full nine days later. If that's standard (and it's hard to tell with a sample size of one), the pseudo-Erinn's presence may not mean much. |

Oowatanite wrote: Coach WANTS to go to exile for two reasons: 1. He is stupid and thinks that the HII that Brendan admitted having before he was voted off has been replaced. Dumb Fuck. 2. If he goes to exile and can come up with a good fake injury, illness, or fatigue, he will have a ready excuse for doing poorly in the endurance IC that we all KNOW is coming. Because he is a pussy like that. |

Well, he's gotta realize that for being the he-man explorer that he is, it's strange he's never been to EI. Plus they can't hold that over him
at FTC now. You know he's thinking that.
