The idea of Melissa winning would be a bad outcome for the show. Everyone is so amazed that she picked up the dances so well despite joining the competition 2 days before the first show, and her fans also probably think she's still hurting from the break-up (doesn't she have a new boyfriend?).

The delusional happiness and pride her and her fans would feel if she won would be a little too much, and her fans don't realize just how much of an advantage she has because she was a cheerleader. People keep bringing up people like Mel B and Mario Lopez as counter arguments because they've also had "dance experience" and they were aloud on the show. Oh, and someone's counter argument to me on another board was seriously "Holly Madison was a cheerleader in high school and that clearly didn't help her at all, so it's not an advantage." I really do not think most of her idiot fans truly understand what it means to be a DC cheerleader. They probably think she just shakes pompoms around and does a high kick every once in a while.

And then there's Jonathan who's "married" to Anna.

I think Tony is almost 36, and doesn't that make him the oldest pro on the show (since Corky left)?
