Kisha/Jen said the task took about 15 minutes. Tammy/Victor would have probably only finished 5 or so minutes faster since they still made a mistake and had
to wait for the food to be cooked. So as advantages go, it is pretty negligible.

It was hard not to notice that there were no subtitles when K/J were reading their 'correct' pronounciations. They were probably just as mangled as
ever but the producers realised they'd created a task that only T/V could legitimately pass.

This is someone's stupid idea of diversity. Have they ever had a Mexican-American team on this show? Why only one black team per season? It shouldn't matter unless they're deliberately picking some stupid models they went to high school with after they fill the alloted "black/asian/other team" slot first. And we know all Latin American peoples are the same appears to lump asians together. And we all know all Asian peoples are the same. |

Some teams will have a natural advantage in most tasks and locations. It is a little lame having a speaking task when you have a team that speaks the language
and a deaf contestant. But I don't think it's egregious.
If anything my problem is that this is the first time in the history of the Race with [the equivalent of] three legs in one country (save the US in season 8). That's 25% of the entire race and one team happened to have a huge advantage during that time. |
