I wonder if the writers got it from the news here, it has gotten pretty big. We also had an illegal get beat up a few towns over and another Law and Order based on that, didn't watch it though, fucking douchebags only got charged with assault and not the murder and racial intimidation because the jury was a bunch of white people from that racist town. I was totally thinking the same thing. He always plays the same guy when he's undercover. I thought the ending where practically everyone on the squad is staging a court scene was a bit over the top. How stupid must you be to accept a bribe a couple of hours after a cop and a lawyer did a background search on you? Didn't she think the timing was a bit fishy? And are they going to give us a new ADA every week now?

I was disappointed that she got arrested as it probably signals the end of her time on the show. I thought she did a damn fine job. I still love Swoosie from the outtakes at the end of Liar Liar where she's trading insults with Jim Carrey and shouts out "over actor". Love the addition of Alex Kingston too. What's happened to Michaela McManus though, she hasn't been on for weeks? Not complaining, just wanted to know how many enjoyable weeks would could have before having to gaze upon her horribly schoolmarmish updo again.

Not complaining, just wanted to know how many enjoyable weeks would could have before having to gaze upon her horribly schoolmarmish updo again. I don't like her either, but I would still prefer they'd stick with her instead of playing revolving doors with the DAs. The DA is a staple in the cast. Changing her every other week is like changing Chandler from Friends every other week.

I am not saying that the last episode was award worthy but it did use 2 ripped from the headlines cases that I could spot and the launching pad for the script. One was the teenage girl sending nude pics of herself being seen as someone distributing kiddy porn and the other was the judge sending people who didn't commit serious crimes directly to facilities for profit w/o a fair trial or case. ______ I haven't watched regularly in a while but in the Hilary Duff episode I noticed that Alex Cabot was back. WTF? Where is the new girl whatever her name is? Did the show get rid of her and get Alex back?
