Well if they're doing some sort of comparison between all the warriors, it wouldn't be wrong.
I agree that the Apache had a bloodlust, but a Gladiator could not lose a fight. I mean they die if they lost, the Apache could always retreat.
As far as there needing to be groups, it would be more accurate, but that would be way too many variables. At the same time, you could always say something like "Well these people always made sure there were 2x as many as their opponent" or "Gladiators faught alone, they're not use to fighting like the Apache would be in groups." They'd have to take into account group tactics as well, but this show is purely entertainment, it's not deciding which race would be spared in the next Holocaust.
