Slow Ride by Foghat.

An odd selection for a doo-wet, no? We'll see. Nice energy from Allison on the start, although her vocal isn't quite up to Adam's when you compare her line to his. She precedes him again on the 2nd line, a bit closer in style and quality between the two. And I love the energy and dramatics she's laying down out there! She does a tricky thing trying to bring the melody up from down low, which isn't quite on target, but it's close. (You could see her grin, too.) The ending was brick shithouse solid, though. They belong together in the Final Two, don'tcha think? What a pair!

Randy: You guys are 2 seasoned rock stars in the house! You should do a duet on your albums! The bomb!
Kara: That's when a duet is right! When you push each other to be better!
Poler: The 2 of you are perfect blend, perfect marriage, unlike ... well ... You should do a duet! It's a beautiful thing!
(Someone in the audience shrieks for Allison and a group picks up the chant briefly.)
Simon: In the battle of duets, you clearly won. And Adam, you may have given this one (pointing to Allison) a chance to stay in the competition.
