Luke and Bob getting U-Turned and having to do this one would have been TV magic.
I agree. This thread makes me wish that.

I think that they were MUCH tougher on T&V for execution than they were on the sistahs. T&V's first try (for which they didn't succeed) had to
have been a million times better than Keesha and Jen's final try when they DID succeed. I would also say that T&V were judged harder on their execution
on that task than ANY of the three other teams were judged on their execution of the makeup task... The final makeup looks that were considered good enough
really didn't match the sample all that closely...
The reason T&V finished in first by a huge margin is because they didn't take HOURS to find the clue for the "U-Turn" or whatever you call it. Now, that may be language related, but nobody should have taken as long as those bitches (all three sets) took without trying a new tactic. They earned their failure! |

Knowing things like "Gu gong is Forbidden City" helped them to find those clue boxes a lot faster.

I lol'd at the subtitles when Kisha & Jen said it though. Funny stuff like 'Red blah blah'. It was major luls and I loved how they could
translate the Chinese into such.
Then again I do speak Chinese so it probably came off as more funny to me. Pronunciation is tough though, you have to pronounce it exactly right and not speak with some slang with it. But I pretty much suck at Chinese so lol. |

I guess they've never had legs in Spanish speaking countries with Spanish speakers. I guess they've never had tasks involving
running/climbing/swimming/biking with experienced runners/climbers/swimmers/bikers.
People get lucky with tasks. |

There are lots of words common in both Spanish and English, so the languages aren't completely unintelligible to
one another. Plus, Latin American people are friendly, whereas Chinese do not want to talk to you.
No comparison. Edit: what I meant to type.

Someone is using the big words without looking them up again. |

If there were more panda taxi drivers, there would be no problem.

You want friendly taxi drivers? Go to New York. No wait.....
Paris? No, wait..... Mexico City? Nope. Hard to smile thru the mask. London - that's it, London!! |

So let me get this straight -- you guys are under the impression that they cast the show, and then go about designing
the race course and the tasks?
Yeah. That's the way I'd do it. |

I admit Asian languages are more foreign to the western ear. But I travelled in France, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Mexico and a few other palces and I gotta say,
Italy, Morocco and France were a lot easier than Spain as far as language went. More English spoken and when it wasn't, French and Italian were a lot
easier to speak and hear than Spanish.

When you weigh this against the fact that Victor and Tammy are the only Chinese that can't do synchro diving and gymnastics, it pretty much evens out.

EnricoV wrote:This is someone's stupid idea of diversity. Have they ever had a Mexican-American team on this show? Why only one black team per season? It shouldn't matter unless they're deliberately picking some stupid models they went to high school with after they fill the alloted "black/asian/other team" slot first. And we know all Latin American peoples are the same |

Shocking that a brother and sister team might have some sort of shared ethnicity!!!

Why only one black team per season?TnT + Andre/Damon. Andre/Damon were so lame, they refused to ever cast two black teams again, true story, probably. |
